Nekonome

So they don't count her previous film roles. Not much, but

Script, emotions, jokes, acting, chemistry - all around so good.

Roh Yoon Seo in Hear Me: Our Summer (2024). She's actually deserves it. Amazing role.
Pity Oh Hae Won didn't get award.
Why is Lee Hye Ri nominee this year as "new actress"? She performs for more than 10 years already.
Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon got popularity award. Deserved for 100%

Funny moment in ep. 17 at 0:34:40 when Han Shang Yan calls Tong Nian they use same hotel phone. But Tong Nian's one is "wireless".
Overall impressions: not bad romance, funny yet confident FL, grumpy ML.
But i can't get seriously that CTF "game". It's supposed to be a hackers competition for code attack and defence and need alot of coding, but they like playing boring FPS without onscreen action, using just ASWD keys. And it has a huge fanbase and alot of budgets. I just don't believe and can't get into it. In ep. 19 it out of sudden turns into CS-like game.
Except this it's good.

Yep. Donno how even can exist that tulle curtain style dresses.
It's all the more surprising because the rest of the costumes are very good.

Woah! It hits hard by simple words from the beginning. Overdose of romance and fluffness.
Really high expectations. In progress. Looks like 10/10 so far (i'm on ep. 8).
Upd: done and it's awesome. Except her dress in last episode huh.

Pinned some to my queue. ty

Oh yeeah. That wet laminaria coat in ep. 10. Fashion police needed.
Upd. he wears it once again in final scene. ><

Totaly 100% accurate description. Everyone act stupid.
Shen Qing is a magnet for all kind of douchebags. All others seemed almost normal compared to her exes, but stupid anyway.
Upd 2: ep. 11 gets it clear: Shen Qing just same, she totally deserves them.
Upd: i just realise that it has exactly same vibe of all around stupidity as korean "Boys over Flowers" but there is a 10 years gap between these two series.

Is there any explanation of Nan Feng blocking Lao Yan in first series? And then ep. 12 like nothing happened

Not sure if they mentioned location in eps 1-9. Is that Xinjiang?

I struggled more of ML's behaivior.
Wait till the end series for more cringe.
Director filmed Hidden Love so I'm clearly certain that the main problem of Chinese cinema is awful editing directors.

Somehow she wasn't irritating for me. She is straightforward, she didn't do anything nasty or evil to the leads. Just too actively seeking for ML's love. Hypertrophied stubborn character.
You 'll never met someone like her in real life, but here in this story she's just OK.
Some characters in other series are much more annoying, who do nasty or evil things just for no adequate reason, at the whim of the screenwriter.

Shin Min Ah >>>> Lee Se Young, no matter i adore them both.

Nice recs. Seen them all and liked.

True. Just sneakpeeked his castlist and remember "About Time". Same dull ML.

After the epilogue scene in Ep.1 you know, it's going to be a good comedy.

I'm not going to give up watching, but...
As mentioned ML is such a jerk in first 6 or so episodes.
In addition classic chinese filmmakers have some kind of fetish for stone-faced male characters with the temperament of an iceberg.
FL switched from repulsion to adoration in blink of an eye for no apparent reason. Like a huge milestone missed in plot about 16-17 eps.

Ep. 18 is such a mockery of common sense.
Unit 9 delayed promo. Exhibition stand went to Unit 1 for reason - Deadline.
ML and whole Unit 9 are outraged that they were not given a stand, although they deliberately missed the deadline and knew about it.
Stella passes the stand to Unit 9 just an hour before exhibition. Like all Unit 1 work is kind of joke for her (main title making money right now).
The end of ep. 20 Jun Nan ignores and anger at Gu Xun. Why? What happened? Just like scene before was cut. As comments below say this will happen all the time till the end.
The plot of the series and plot twists are designed for girls of elementary school age.

The Vane's OST from "Miss Night and Day" in Ep. 1 karaoke and so on...
