The Blossoming Love and Moonlight Mystique are xianxia, while Blossom is historical. Completely different genres.…
It's more about politics, intrigue, duty, loyalty, and support. Romance is just right: not a lot and not a little. Some complain that the romantic scenes could have been longer. Also there is some fight scenes. Not much.
Altho 10 years passed (omg) it's not old. Doesn't look old. 2014 year and backwards are really old, they have different vibe for sure. Dunno what happened in filming that year, but sure compare smth like 2010-2014 and 2015-2017 dramas. To not go far compare Shin Min Ah's films: this one and "Arang and the Magistrate" and "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho"
I was so damn pissed for Jae Hak, it was like everything shit was happening to him only. I am so so glad for the…
Ik Sin's lie is the biggest frustration. Her logic is completely incomprehensible to me. She chose the most painful reason for lying... And after that her words: "I didn't want to hurt you" Meeeh
this drama is so slow even watching in 1.75x speed, no wonder why i dropped it 4 years ago but i like both main…
Ep 8 ML acts disgusting. Not confident or assertive, but really disgusting. Ep 9 getting even worse. And classic crappy chinese editing. Like they are in deep quarrel -> 5 mins -> introduction to ML parents. Lack of money and a fridge full of booze. Dropped it at ep. 11.
I guess i got it (not so smart to catch it for the first time, reviewed ep. 25) Li Yaonyan / Li Shuyao (appeared in the end of ep.24 and suicided in the beginning of ep.25) - Song Han's mother, As monk said she gave birth to him month before Jiang Huisun (Song Mo's mother) gave birth to daughter. Daughter was taken away and supposedly dead, but may still appear later (rise from the dead lol). I guess Jiang Huisun did't know about child substitution. Song Mo was born before that case, he is elder son.
A satisfying ending that's finally done well. All Chinese screenwriters should take a lesson from this. Overall,…
I would also add that the editing director is awesome. Compared to many other Chinese dramas, everything is consistent, logical and detailed. Paid enough attention to the details and explanations.
I feel so bad for Ming'er....... i cry whenever i remember her part... she was too pitiful
It was more ironic than dramatic. To die as a result of the mother's affairs and the carousing of a useless husband. Such a waste. Could be more pity if she last longer than that episode.
Not a fan of chinese historical dramas, but this one is very catchy. Decorations and costumes are very good (dunno if they correct enough, but really good looking). As many here in comments I prefer more romance and less politics. It's more about duty and loyalty, than love. P.S. Double names are maddening when trying to figure out who the conversation is about
I don't think this is a spoiler since it's in the first 2 episodes but does Dou Zhao not fully remember her past…
Future, written in the book, is changing as she acts. She remember her past life, but it's 16 years passed since her resurrection in age of 7 to main plot timeline.
But worth watch it only for your favourite actors. Just like I did. Can't even remember story plot. Seen it 3 months ago.
