Starting from episode with cat, scratching Shi Yue, it looks like someone bit the screenwriter, too, and pieces of the story began to disappear. The characters' mood swings and thoughts leading to decisions are not explained. You have to look at what's happening with the thought: "Well, that's just how he wanted it, no sense".

As for me all that annoying things pale in comparision to Lin You's return to her ex in one blink.

I can't get clear why it's far away of expectations for me. Just first 20 minutes of 1st episode. No wonder it has "Business Proposal" vibe: Kim Sejeong, Lee Deok Hwa and same director Park Seon Ho. I really like "Business Proposal" and KSJ, but struggle to watch this.
Maybe "Business Proposal" style gags didn't work as main narrative here?
Or KSJ "The Uncanny Counter" style action scenes didn't fit here?

Upd at episode 9: I can't help but feel that the same plot moves in "Business Proposal" look appropriate, but here it's overdone and unnatural.

I guess genres tags order causes that negative comments below.

I've read your comments below and just thinking is it worth for me to struggle further just to see more strange acting nice actors presenting.
Flashbacks already showed that reasons u say, I got why he left her, I just can't understand why it's acceptable for them to live together before their misunderstandings revealed and it's frustrating. I guess this will be my first c-drama dropped.

I'm at ep 10 so far and I can't get why ML and FL behave that way. They both have bitter resentment for each other, but live together like it's OK. Just said "U had your reasons". No forgiveness, no acceptance, just live together pretending to fall for each other for no reason. Annoying, but can't drop it because of actors, not characters.

"The Fabulous" is top2 cringe as the lowcost cosplay for fashion show events.
