When I see productions like this on here, I start to question whether MDL should even allow "co-productions" on here at all lol. Shows like Pachinko and Shogun and movies Letters from Iwo Jima seem reasonable. But then you come to something like this which is (definitely primarily) an American production. Only one of the actors has been in Asian productions...
Anyway, will someone explain the reasoning behind it being a co-production with Hong Kong. I can't find anything.
I'm watching Carnation right now and I was like the grandpa looks so familiar. Turns out he was in a lot of Godzilla movies, including the very first one! RIP, your work is appreciated :)
Interesting list. I'm a little sad that my favorite asadora (Hanako to Anne, Ohisama) aren't in the top ten :( I'm surprised by Chiritotechin's rating. I really liked it but I thought it wasn't that popular. I wonder if the rating for Tora ni Tsubasa will drop once it's done airing, though I think it deserves its spot so far. Anyway, based on this list, I'm looking forward to finishing Carnation and starting Asa ga Kita in the near future :)
Went through the raredoramas links (though maybe not all). The links are advertising links and some of them are just buggy. I discovered that you can bypass through a few of them. (I use bypass.city btw)
Some updates to the list: *These work just by clicking on the link: Amachan, Hitomi, Fight, Junjo Kirari, Umechan Sensei, Wakaba, Hanako to Anne, Agri, Hiyokko, Asa ga Kita *Works with bypasser: Teruteru Kazoku, Kaze no Haruka, Teppan, Mio Tsukushi, Ohisama, Gegege no Nyobo, Carnation, Asuka [Click on the link and then copy-paste that link into the bypasser.] *For Oshin, copy and paste the link to access the files don't click on them. *Files missing: Churasan, Gochisosan, Massan, Welkame, Jun to Ai [These links may be removed from the list in the future.]
BTW: Sometimes if you comment nicely about the links not working, the site owner will fix them. But sometimes they just can’t be fixed unfortunately :(
This drama didn't live up to its potential but its not bad. Just has some issues, particularly with the pacing. This definitely should've been a 12 episode drama not 16 episodes. I appreciate the overall message as someone who has had depression and still goes through "slumps."
This article made me feel so nostalgic! My first drama was Hana Yori Dango around 2009 or 2010 when I was about eleven or twelve. I discovered it after watching the anime version. It's still one of my favorites and I've probably rewatched five times. My first K-drama was Lie to Me. I have pretty distinct memories of it though I've never rewatched it since.
After joining MDL, I discovered dramas from other countries and it's been a fun ride so far! I thought it was funny in the article that the running theme was the 2020 lockdowns. That was when I started watching dramas consistently and I hit my 100th drama watched last year.
Watched the first week of this asadora and I'm already liking the vibe. It's nice seeing Kaya after watching her in Natsuzora. She definitely deserved her own asadora.

I've also created a list of which asadora can be downloaded online and which have English subtiles: https://kisskh.at/list/LOPazre3

Edit: Episodes after 42 appear to be in order in the playlist. Think I'm going to make a separate playlist of just episodes 1-41 in order lol.
