Omg all the references in this episode. First, the lakorn scene was too funny. And then they gave Thyme a cat and named it Dango. I forgive the blatant advertising lollll. Towards the end, the mean girl trio were playing with plushies of the F4. GMMTV even advertising their own stuff!

I hope Ren isn't gone for long. I never read the manga so I am not sure how close this adaptation tracks to it.…
Just guessing from how much of the manga it's covering and the pacing being similar to the J-drama. I think he'll probably come back at the end of the next episode.

Ok so spoiler.... According to previous version and source material... And since this version closely follow the…
I think you're probably right. Thyme-Gorya, of course. Ren-Mira have never ended up together, except in the anime. I'm 50/50 right now on whether Kavin-Kaning will be together or not. I think we have to see more of the show, but I hope they follow the manga with this tbh. And yes, MJ has his friends :)

Yes!! I love him, but I'm sick of everyone thinking he's perfect lol

Adding on to Chibi's description. There's also the subplot with Gorya's friend Kaning and F4 member Kavin. She'll…
Korean and Chinese versions are the only ones where they end up together. In the manga, they never really have a "relationship". Yuki (Kaning) pursues Sojiro (Kavin), but he never feels the same way. She helps him find closure with his first love, so he sleeps with her once to sort of say thanks. They have a deeper connection that's not romantic, which I don't think can be replicated in a drama. Taiwanese ver came closest, while Japanese ver kind of butchered it.

Agree with Rodrygo. You should be able to express your feelings and opinions without someone being rude and assuming mean things about you. Hope that person learns to be nicer!

I'm a huge kdrama fan, but tbh the korean version really lacks chemistry between the main leads, so yeah I don't…
Japanese version is my first too and will always be the best imo. Every time I watch it again, I get the same feelings T_T

Adding on to Chibi's description. There's also the subplot with Gorya's friend Kaning and F4 member Kavin. She'll help him get closure with his first love, Mona. It's up in the air whether Kaning and Kavin will end up together, but if they're following the manga, they won't

Thyme's mom is the best evil mom out of all the different versions. She's so scary lol. And yes I love the visuals of this version. They've gotten everything perfect so far. F4 Thailand is now my second favorite version after the Japanese one.

Haha I agree. I made sure my family left me alone for an hour on Christmas to watch F4. We're not even doing anything on Jan 1. I guess they can do whatever with their programing but I would've rather had a new ep of F4.

do you know if he left them? they posted a video today of all their talent, like headshots, and he wasn't in it.
Are you talking about the Smile Through 2022 video? That was filmed at GMMTV's conference on Dec 1st. Fiat wasn't there because he doesn't have any new projects.

I think there's a good chance that Fiat will leave. Since I haven't heard him confirm it, we should just wait for now until GMMTV updates their headshots on their website (https://www.gmm-tv.com/artists/). They update every year around Jan/Feb, so we'll definitely know then.

That's why I couldn't get through the Korean version, because people kept telling me that haha.

LMAO, I can't with this 'SLS' too. Feels like people are just overhyping it, tbh. I feel like it has more to do…
Yes, Dew is so good-looking but my personal fave is Nani XD You're right about the wolf thing haha. The F4 all responsible for the bullying, but Ren has the least involvement so people glomp onto him.

Ikr. If I were Makino, I would choose Domyouji too. Like at the first thought, he was an ass then realized that…
One of my favorite part's of the manga is when Makino wondering if Rui had confessed sooner would she still have fallen for Tsukasa. She realizes that she would've always fallen for Tsukasa.

I don't get the SLS especially given that he flirts with Makino, DESPITE being in love with another woman. NOT…
Haha that part where he almost kisses Gorya was almost exact as the manga. Rui can be such a jerkass, but everyone likes to ignore that in every version hahahaha

Perfectly said. Rui knows his feelings for Makino aren't equal to Domyoji's so he hardly tried. Sure, he was a little sad but Rui was ultimately happy that Makino and Domyoji were together.

Rui (Ren in this version) is one of my favorite characters. But I don't get the whole "sls syndrome" tbh. It feels like people don't appreciate his character as an individual and are just disappointed he didn't end up with Makino. In the manga, Rui does eventually fall for Makino but he doesn't take it that seriously. He knows that Makino really loves Domyoji and ultimately just wants to see her happy with him. I think Rui's ultimate happiness is being surrounded by his friends.

I don't know if this is related, but about the school's name, Kocher, with the saying "Salt of the earth, light…
"Salt of the earth" and "Light of the world" appear to be both bible quotes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_and_light. I think the quote is meant to highlight the hypocrisy of the school as the students are neither "salt of the earth" nor "light of the world," meaning good and virtuous. I think your saying also fits within this concept and they may have just chosen an English equivalent.
