I see everyone thinking 16 episodes won’t be enough for the show let me care to explain so I’ve been watching…
Producer for Meteor Garden 2018 was also producer for the original MG. When she got the chance to adapt the story again, she wanted to be faithful to the manga not like how she kinda ruined first MG with the bad sequel. I like that MG 2018 is long and covers the whole manga. But, you know, we don’t need that again lol. Japanese version shows that they can cut out a lot of unnecessary parts and still make a good story.
I agree with you. I think 16 episodes will be perfect. From the trailer, I can tell that they cover a lot of the manga. Let’s hope that the pacing will be good and not draggy like MG 2018.
I was completely right about the whole ending. Ugh why’d they pretend to kidnap a pregnant woman 😒 Doesn’t she have enough stress lol
Anyway, I was surprised that Pak ended up being the reasonable one. She realized that Kim would never really love her, but both Kim and Mook were willing to sacrifice their happiness for her. But why tho? I understand forgiving her, but what did they do to Pak to feel so bad about? The marriage was never meant to be real. How was Kim to know that Pak was serious about it.
Lastly, I didn’t really care if Mook and Kim ended up together or not lol. They never fought for their love so I don’t really think they deserved to be together.
A few years ago I bought a large rainbow umbrella. Whenever it's raining I'll go outside and pretend I'm in a drama/movie. It's the little things in life, you know? A really fun article to read btw.
The premise of this movie was so promising when I clicked to watch it on TCM. However, the execution.... Anyway, I forgot about this until I saw it on my list just now.
Curious about MJ. Is it really like that that his role doesn't have any love interests? (I mean, the visuals would…
You made laugh with the "advertisement purpose" lol. I really disliked that part of the drama. They really ruined one of the most important parts for the FL and ML just to waste time with a character we didn't care about.

Cho Na is right. MJ doesn't have any love interests, except in the C version and kind of as a joke in the J version. C version love interest wasn't very popular with viewers lol. I remember everyone complaining during her episodes lol. I doubt MJ will have a love interest since this version is only 16 episodes, while C version was 50.
I don't remember, the third guy had an ex girlfriend? And who is Gawao supposed to be? And who is the guy to the…
3) Thyme is linked to First as a "bully," so I think my guess is probably right also going off the scenes from the trailer. First is seen getting a red card and then being beaten up, which doesn't fit with the guy who wanted revenge on ML. Though it could be like in the K version, where those characters are brothers (this isn't true in the manga/other versions). Now I'm getting more curious about First's character! P.S. I'm hoping for a BL twist somewhere cause it'd be interesting and completely different from the other versions.
I think both theories sound very juvenile. Mike's mad because Toptap beat him in a tiktok competition? Too ridiculous. Can't fans come up with a better theory lol. I also think you're right about the gf rumors being stupid. That's just fans wishful thinking that at least one of them likes the other irl.
If there was a falling out, neither Mike nor Toptap will ever reveal it since that wouldn't be professional.
I wonder if Fiat will leave GMMTV. He's seems kind of frustrated with them and he has no new projects with them for 2022 (besides WoF which was announced last year).
