I'm a little bit confused on how Pai and North 'don't have a penny to their name' when a few episodes ago Pai was loudly declaring that his new project had nothing to do with the company's money but was his own. So... It wasn't? His grandpa has access anyways? How? If Pai really wanted a project to be his own only wouldn't he make sure he is the only one who can access that account. He's a businessman, he should above all be secure in his finances.
But maybe that will come up in the next episode 🤔

His lawyer could make a case for that fairly easily I would say. Intent matters, obviously, but as of now Yu hasn't been in direct contact with any of North's accounts. At least there is a lack of evidence for that. He has also not slept with him, isolated him or told him something that would make it easier for Yu to get closer to the assets. As the lawyer said, it was North's idea to get married and he was the one kind of 'stalking' Yu to find him. He found him working under his legal name, in a legal business, without an attempt to reconnect with North.

Oh ALSO ALSO I wonder if Yu could countersue them with deprivation of liberty? Also a shaky case, but they literally filmed Yu bound to a chair, Pai threatening him with his life (plus he hired someone to get lessons in shooting while Yu was still technically stuck in the apartment). And Pai is the heir to a billion bath company... The lawyer could use the influence he has and make an emotional victim out of Yu. Just... A fun idea? No one? Am I overthinking this? Usually the vast majority of the people commenting don't immediately rate the show after the first episode. Very often in the beginning the ratings change drastically as the show progresses. Give it a few more weeks, until episode three or four and it will hopefully be stable and good (if the show continues to be good, I hope so).
I can't wait to find out more about Tim's motivation. It COULD be money only, but I don't hope so because that's already Yu's motivation. Would be kind of boring.
Maybe he is on a whole revenge plot because of something that happened to his family? That would be cool. It would make the things he said at the first date only a half lie because family IS a sensitive topic but for a different reason. Definitely can't wait!

I don't like the character of Risa because she gets framed by the series as if she is a mastermind. A master manipulator that against all odds is the coldest and meanest of them all, when that's simply not the case.
Whenever she plans something she always aims for the highest damage, the most death and the most destruction. She never calculates sideplans or is two steps ahead when things don't go exactly as she plans it. No, no, no. She always HOPES they turn out in her favour, then panics and pulls something out of her ass to save herself. It's so frustrating. She's not cold at all in my opinion. She just doesn't care and never thinks things through. Then her bodyguard has to go to places and save her.
I would have LOVED it if she IS an actual cold mastermind. Always ahead, always has millions of sideplans. Like the reason she is stepping up isn't because that was her plan all along because she knows what she is doing. It just so happens that things turned out in her favour because Pheem and Chet are fucking dumbasses who never communicated about anything. I wouldn't even say she is a psychopath, because her entire life is focused on proving her dad wrong. She wanted his attention, wanted him to appoint her as the new ceo. She always wanted to make him proud. She is not power hungry per se (which is a very important aspect in defining psychopathic personality traits). If she was she would have killed Chet years ago, or at least did everything in her power to obtain money and power in a different way, which she never did. She always stayed in her brother's shadow. That doesn't really fit.

Risas bodyguard annoys me so much. What the fuck is she? Shehulk? Always there at the perfect moment and coincidentally the only one who always lands hit perfectly (even more perfect than a former police officer apparently). She knows everything, is everywhere and obviously never gets hurt or injured because she's such a boss babe. She is such a deus ex machina at this point it's making me angry.
The thing with the mind reading is that yeah, while it's definitely an invasion of privacy it's also heavily implied that it's not something they can actively control.
When Ya walked through the lobby and heard all the workers think terrible things about him Phop later said he's not envious of his ability anymore and rather pities him. Implying Ya HAS to always read people's thoughts around him, whether he wants to or not. Which must suck.
So like... What are they supposed to do then? Immediately always tell people they just met that they can hear their thoughts? No one would ever want to be with them or touch them. Not even just potential lovers, friends too. I'm personally splitted. I get both points of view, but I don't think it's as black and white as a lot of people claim. Because even with the jewelry existing Ya HAS to listen to Phops thoughts whenever he touches him. Always.
They're being judged for having an ability they can't control and saying they're monsters or horrible people because of that ability is... Horrible. It's a grey area in my opinion.

Depends. If you enjoy lighthearted romance comedy, slow burn and strangers to lovers with one falling hard and deep and the other slow and steady then I would highly recommend it. Bonus if wealth gap romance is your thing too.
If you prefer a heavy and dramatic love story with a lot of overly complex and morally grey characters then this drama is not for you.
