Why wouldn't we judge it from episode one? It's 2022 and it's not much to expect a good and cohesive storyline from episode 1. They have enough resources. Yeah ten years ago bl dramas didn't even have to try for people to like it. Things have changed.

I'm kind of very disappointed they didn't even try to go the Raymond Reddington kind of mafia head with Yoon. He doesn't have any kind of aggressive or dominating aura, so why not use that to their advantage and make him a polite and charming character.
Instead of having him order to get someone killed (which doesn't make him seem dangerous, just cowardly because he doesn't do anything himself) why not have him be the one torturing someone creatively?

It would help with making us feel like he knows how do get what he wants no matter what. And that he isn't scared to get his hands dirty if he believes that it's the right thing to do. So that he's not just 'brutal' he just has his own set of morals and acts accordingly.

But no, instead we have the stereotypical boring mafia head who isn't even armed but instead has 6 guards at all times. Creative

Well that makes a lot more sense. These are such different departments no wonder it's messy and poor quality.
That's why it's never a good idea when one person does everything. You naturally get overwhelmed and can't do your best in every department

That mister calling was something else. Maybe the writers thought it was hot because 'daddy'? But it was so uncalled for. Like why mister not master or actually daddy. That's the psychological stuff that's actually interesting because there is always a reason. And without spoiling too much a small scene could have been really intriguing.
