I'm just not seeing them as dom/sub. They did that one scene so poorly, it never registered that they have that…
Yeah that's what I meant. Sorry if I didn't explain it well. I meant Kim just giving into Kamol at the end as if his desires and wishes don't count and now he is a place where he doesn't feel safe but watched and anxious. Especially as "his" dom I don't understand how Kamol can live with him like this, knowing exactly how the other feels

Right? It's honestly such a weird feeling now whenever they get closer because we expect certain chemistry but get awkward smooches instead. And that just because of the premise that got kind of fulfilled in the first episode and that was it

They definitely should have left it out, but the whole premise was built around it so any 'sexual' touch they'll have will be connected to that. It would be way less bothersome if they hadn't even hinted at such a relationship, definitely
What did we learn from this episode? Consent is just a word you can use once, in the end subs have no own opinion and they will do what their dom wants. Sweet, thank you so much. That's good for the teenagers
People really are expecting Bad Buddy and KinnPorsche level dramas these days. I think it's a decent drama I'm…
Exactly! Sure a tight budget sucks but if you have a good director and editor everything can look amazing. You simply need creativity and enthusiasm. But that's so clearly lacking here. If we as normal viewers can see the colours don't match how can the 'professionals' miss it? Laziness.
It could have been great, even with a small budget but the director, producer and editor are apparently the same person so no wonder so many things are overlooked

No we're not 'too negative'. Ten years ago yeah this show would have been a hit. But nowadays... My god. You cannot as a company just do the bare minimum and expect money and fame. It's 2022, we have more than one gay show nowadays. This show is chaotic, the writing is slow and over explanatory, the colours are awful, the editing is jarring and confusing and the storyline is non existent.
This is a company, not a poor one man show. They have resources and money to make this show good, but they didn't. So stop acting as if this is high school and 'we're such meanies'
Episode 3...was better. I'm warming up to it some. This episode I noticed the music that a few of you mentioned--it…
They could have worked the product placement more into the story though. For example his most trusted guard 'forces' Kamol to drink and use them because 'how else is he going to convince the businessmen and connections to work for him, if not while being the most healthy and beautiful person in the room'. There is always a way, just needs creativity
The bath scene in the first ep, was really nice tho. That made my heart melt.
It's an absolute no go though. It is definitely adorable! But if he did that in real life after whipping him so much he had wounds Kim would be screaming in pain because of the soap. So as a scene cute, as aftercare horrible
The lighting control in this episode gave me an episode. Like I also love when my subjects on screen have harsh dark shadows that cover half their face or sit with the back to the main light so you can't even see any facial expression. Come on, I know it's hard filming outside but everything else looked good!
Why wouldn't we judge it from episode one? It's 2022 and it's not much to expect a good and cohesive storyline…
Oh that's what you mean with judge! Yeah I definitely agree with that. People are always quick to rate an entire show when they've only seen the first episode, annoying but normal. Same with reviews, I get people are frustrated (me included) but that's a way too soon
people who judge a show from the first 1-3 episodes
Why wouldn't we judge it from episode one? It's 2022 and it's not much to expect a good and cohesive storyline from episode 1. They have enough resources. Yeah ten years ago bl dramas didn't even have to try for people to like it. Things have changed.
Ps. My secret crush It was cringe until the last episode, people didn't suddenly loved it they endured it

And the whole set up was so horrible and lacking in all places it's so obvious how little thought they put into it
"Whipping is very sadistic hardcore bdsm right?" "I don't know man but I would never so yes."
Thank you for your in depth research ^^
