And lastly, because Im really going to bed now... I keep forgetting you are not in America. :( We are so far apart. Me no like.
The other reason why I don't care for Lee Min Ho is because I find him annoyingly skinny and shallow... hmmm, maybe because of how he plays his characters? He never takes his hands of his pockets like he needs to remind us he is supposed to be cool and shit... excuse me, sir? Yeah, hmm, we know you are cool, you are the main character of an action drama, or romance drama... no real difference. Oh, was there supposed to be a difference in your characters? Well, hmm... I think so. But never fright, we have 90% fans of dramaland that stand blindly by your side, just as long as you don't take those hands out of your pockets.
See, I need to go to sleep, I'm talking strangely... well, more than before.

Yes I agree, this drama does have low points which I'm trying to explain to Shelly without driving her away from it completely because it is a nice drama to watch and it has our mutual love Lee Byung Hun haha.
I also agree about the blond hair. Why couldn't he have it dark? He looks great with dark hair. Anyway, every time I watch an scene with the guitar solo I have to cry because it is just too inspiring.
Favorite scenes: the time they went to the beach. Also, what she tells him he is like to her, like salt water. I love that. The wedding when she has to run to him. The cherry blossoms park, when he is looking for her. And the ending scene. But my favorite has got to be the beach scene. ^ ^

The kisses in this drama are good.
Well, you are asking me to tell you the whole drama LOL. Yes characters fall ill, but NO, they dont die. I thought that was the low point to this drama. Other than that, it is very good. There is angst, but mostly between the family members and the lovers, because Lee being this kind of miserable character, he will treat our girly poorly. But I so love that.
Well, the main reason I don't care for Lee Min Ho is because everyone else does and in doing so they make him out to be this AMAZING actor which he totally is NOT. Let's be frank here fans! But no, they won't listen to reason. Lee Min Ho is the most amazing actor according to 90% of the female fans of drama land.
Just like Titanic the movie seems like a poor attempt at a Romeo and Juliet now, because everyone raving about it like it was Michael Jackson doing the moon walk for the first time.

OMO (yes Im still here) are we the same astrological sign? That would explain a lot of things, and this is my very superficial side speaking. You are right, I am older by 11 months lol. I was born in January 9, and this means when you just turn 31 I will be turning 32 *facepalm* Im so old. *goes cry in corner* *comes back*
Byronic hero, I only learned this term after reading Wuthering Heights. Named after Lord Byron, Byronic hero is the description given to a romantic hero with a dark aura. One that is damaged; a dark character. But when he loves, he does it as intensively as he is bitter. That kind of romantic hero. So Lee is this kind in Beautiful Days. Kang Jae can also be described in this way.
Oh, my favorite Byronic Hero is ST John Rivers from Jane Eyre. :3

Oh wow. If you haven't killed me yet for leaving comments all over your wall, then I don't think you can kill me now, so I will continue: scratch anything I have said before about Beautiful Days. And read ONLY THIS: you HAVE to watch this drama. I just went back and re-watch one of the scenes, and wow... I cried. When I cried in a drama, I know it's good. Plus... yeah, you know it, the ost. lol. No seriously, it is one of those inspiring in a very strong way kinda OST. Sadly the one song that always makes me cry and dream, and feel like I can just take off and fly (Im not on drugs) is not on the CD, so I think the main reason I bought the DVD was because I wanted to be able to go back to this drama and listen to this piece of music.
Going to bed now. Good for you, as you won't be getting any more silly comments for the night. Bad for me, as it means the start of my most dreaded week.

Are we really the same age? Im from 82. *sigh* I should have been born in 62...
BD -- Now that I think about it, aside from the OST, this drama's plot is not bad at all. It has the typical quartet -- in romance. Is this a good word for it? I know it means a group of 4 singers, but... nway, continuing -- But I found that despite the drama being old, it has no real differences with a romance drama of this times. Actually if anything, you might find it a bit fresh in it's genre since we are so used to watching the new dramas.
What I liked the most (aside from the OST. OMG. I sound like a broken record) was LBH's character. He is the typical Byronic Hero. I love this kind of hero the most. And the way he fell for her just really got to me.
Of course, I bought this drama. LOL.

I don't mind being older though... muawhahahaha. I'm just teasing. You can call me whatever you like, as long as it has nothing to do with Lee Min Ho which is another reason to avoid Faith. Aigoo.
I love joking.
Well Beautiful Days is sure old. But the OST is still amazing. The story is not so different from your typical, poor girl changes rich arrogant boy. However, it has it's charm, even after so many years. Or maybe I'm just too blinded?? lol
Our boy Lee is -as always- awesome in this drama. The actress is very good, Choi Ji Woo. The drama is pure romance. I just really like the soundtrack, if it werent for the soundtrack maybe I would have seen this drama in a different light?? ... hmmm. No. I love it. Hahaha.
Darn it. I just read what I wrote and realized I haven't told you much about the drama. :/
Sorry. Ill provide another message with more detailed thoughts.

You have thrown me away?? :(
I have not really watched much of Two Weeks, just the first epi. But I have been caught up in Golden Empire which finished airing this week... phew. What a ride with that drama.
Nway... I miss your comments on my wall. What's happening with that picture???
Hugs.

I don't. Not at all.
Hanzawa Naoki? Hmm... I'll have to check on this one. I don't think I have on my list. But if I find it interesting Ill be sure to add it. Yep. List can never go down. ;)
Well, Taiwanese dramas are lighthearted for the most part. They have tons of rom-coms. I like all genres, but I do have a preferred genre which is crime. Anything with dark characters, and criminal plots I love.
As far as romance goes Lovers is pretty good. But I understand about being in the right mood. I have disliked dramas because Im just not in the mood at the moment. But I never seem to get back to them later either. lol.
I watch family dramas, but I do a lot of skipping. They have too many fillers.
A good drama that touches the family subject is Thank You. Have you ever seen this drama? It's really good. I always recommend it.

there's something wrong with that association! lol. I don't know if I want to watch that show! :-) <------- LAUGHING.MY.BUTT.OFF.
I think you are right.
That woman from faith. Biggest BLARGH I could ever conjured. If you dislike Ha Ji Won, and the other three, then I dislike this lady. I'm sorry to her and her fans, nothing personal, but damn... I couldn't stand her in any of the dramas I watched of her, and it wasn't just one. I watched 3, and liked one very much. Just not her. Blegh.
Nooooooooooooooooo... I totally forgot about Golden Empire. I'll tell you what. I will come and check every night before going to bed to see your comments if you have left any on the drama. Teehee. I can't leave my chingu alone. in the dark. with Tae Joo. No I can't.
I think there is an I (sounding like E) in there, something like: pugushipo? No? o.O

What did you think of Who Are You? And right now Im kinda lost, although I am watching several things, but after finishing Golden Empire I have become somewhat lost hahahaha. It was a very powerful drama for me.
Well, I do find myself in the mood for comedy before going to be at night, so I have been watching Love Ring Bell Twice, or something of the sort. The name is actually Ring, Ring Bell I think. o.O
I recently finished Lovers, which was pretty good and very steamy romance.
I need to catch up with Scandal, and Yae no Sakura which is a beautiful drama about the final years of the Edo period in Japan, and the start of the Meji era. I love it.
What about you? ^ ^

I mentioned Lovers to a friend, and she finished it before me :O
Then she went on to look for info on Lee Seo-jin as she also fell for him. :O
And she found out that he dated the main actress of the drama, for about two years or so, then he had to quite acting because he was forced to take over his family's business. :O :O
Well... only the good ones die young they say, and this is no different. LOL. But of course I'm not literally killing Lee Seo-jin. ;O
I have to be away from here for a week at least, because I start this class Monday which is pretty much a one way street for me: I either, pass, or pass. No alternatives. It's for work... electricity, magnetism... :O :O :O

LMBO!!
I just read over my comments and, each one starts so damn random I had to crack up at myself. >.<
So what is this ending, a last lesson for Choi Seo Yoon, family=happiness and golden empire=loneliness?
I agree with Cheerfulsoul. She knew this, although she still expected her family to come back. But she knew that if she had the group she could not have the laughing family at the breakfast table.
