I will watch it, because I reaaly love the original and I love BL, but I think this would be better if it was a sequel than a straight out adaptation to BL from the original... Love Destiny (original) is too big and too great to be adapted like this, the risk of failure is huuuuge.

no, that is Huang's voice, if he was dubbed he did it himself.

The truth is they put out a lot of mediocre dramas with bad screenwriting and expect the audience to love it and when they don't they blame it on the format, the length or whatever other reason instead of making better dramas with better stories.

From what I know it was approved to have 32 episodes, but the platform - Youku - cut it down because all modern dramas will be shortened, they believe the dramas are losing popularuty due to being too long.

But I will praise what should be praised:
- Yu ShuXin as Wei Zhi was a perfect choice, I can't think of any other actress to play this character!
- Dai Duo and Shan Shan development and story were really good and the changes from the original IP also really good;
- Zeng Keni as Jiang Nanfeng was also awesome casting, she really gives the correct vibes for this character;
- Wei Zhi taking a ride on Shan Chong snowboard was an extremely cute scene and I wanted to see more of it;
- Jiang Nanfeng and Lao Yan changes from the original IP were... an interesting exploration of possibilities;
- I really liked to see Lin Yi actually snowboarding (please don't tell me is a lie) though obviously he did not do the stunts and Yu ShuXin trying to snowboard was also really cute <3;
- The overall vibe of the drama was good and lovely.

I will give this drama a lower rating than I would like considering the actors, even though I really love Esther Yu and Lin Yi, Youku did them dirty, not only cutting a third of the drama, but also changing a lot of things of the original IP (that is really good: funny and lovely), things that did not need changing and they also lost a lor of scenes in th original IP that would be awesome to see in a drama. This drama made me really disappointed. :((

LJH is just so handsome with white hair (edit: I don't care about it being a wig, he pulls it off)!!! And the drama is great, very interestig and thought provoking , I'm loving it <3

I tried watching The Sweetest Taboo for Mikey, but I couldn't get through even the first episode ç_ç Stepmother is on my to watch list

I watched all of the Khun Chai and the Dhevaprom series, my favorite Khun Chai is Pudiphat (something to do with having Jirayu and Bella as the CP, best kujin), and my favorite Dhevaprom was Dujupsorn (though I also really liked Kwanruetai).
Though I must be really clear that both series are for people who enjoy lakorns and enjoy this series for what it is: sweet, simple and a bit naive.
One more observations is that after watching both series I can help but think they are a way of presenting new talent for Channel 3.

According to the original IP her past is coming to haunt her. Let's remember she was a victim of something, as the flashbacks has shown us.

You can start it now, but according to the original IP things will get a bit more... serious (?) in the next episodes to the end, but you can easily watch until 18 than wait it out to see if the drama will do well on this part of the story.

He is way less creepy in the novel, he is more like a puppy... But I agree in the drama he is annoying and creepy.

I read both novels and I don't remember the airport scene in First Frost...
