He doesn't have the presence/stature/look to pull off "mafia boss". I kept smiling, and trust that was not the response I should have had.
As far as the BDSM, I think sometimes these actors bite off more than they can chew. They don't have the acting skill, the understanding of the role, nor the comfort level to tackle sexual kinks.
