Ok, I read the novel. And I discovered the novel covers the competition + Chinese New Year, and it was as boring as the drama is now. The story only gets good in the epilogues, when the ML finally gets romantic. So for me this is it, I’ll drop it. I thought I could go on, that the gaming thing would be over soon, but according to the novel it will not, the whole novel is the darn gaming competition.

Agree, in episode 9 she was feeling bad because her career pays so much and she thinks thats not fair, when she sees YT as a huge brain trying to help the country but not being payed accordingly. She can solve her problem putting the money in a good cause and he can solve his problem being able to do what he likes without worrying about money. And thats very different from being dependable, they are being partners, its not like he is in home not doing anything.

I also like when the ex shows up lol dramawise it adds anticipation for the future plots but unfortunately they aren’t showing up anymore. The plot is a bit boring, I like it, but it could be better. It’s a little depressive.

I agree they are all different dramas m, very different, and the game also plays a different part in each one, in YAMG I even think it could be even less shown.

I’m already liking her more in episodes 4-8. It’s just that the first three episodes were not ok according to my personal values. Since this drama is more realistic, I try to feel empathy and get into the characters so my comments here will sound very personal. I’m interested in the plot because it’s really like my moment in life now having to choose between my dream and better payments and family pressure, so I really like the plot. I hate the gaming part tho, it’s boring to hell those two sitting with the cellphone in hand sometimes they are not even talking to themselves it’s like watching people in a airport waiting for the plain. I’ll just skip those scenes they a really meaningless.

Kdramas are short now because they don’t have money for bir period productions. Korea use to make Six Flying Dragons, Saimdang, Scarlet Heart with Chinese investment and looking for Chinese market. After the ban, Korea started to focus more on modern drama that are cheaper. Now with Netflix they are making big productions like kingdom but those are divided in seasons so it’s less risky.

ok I finished all 8 episodes and I like everything but the gaming parts. The game parts are just so boring, from all gaming shown in chinese dramas this one got to be the most boring. I think the plot is already deep and complex, does not need all that gaming all the time.

I don't think you getting my point here. Hes not mad, hes willing, he is this, he is that. My point is not him, does not matter how he takes it, her attitude is bad. My point is her attitude not his reaction. And also if in the future she changes my mind, ok, no problem, but I'm not a novel reader so the impression I got from her is from the episodes out.
