So on point, I have hope the drama will fix the last part of the book, that for me, is just a mess. The author really lost track in the final part.

She doesn't even finished her 4th novel...its starting to become a legend, the kind of legend that no one knows it its true lol

I'm pretty sure they will show Hua Cheng death and time skip Xie Lian see a butterfly and the end. Thats the standard end for bl adapted dramas, the most we will get its an open ending.

Yes, we can agree to disagree. As I understood in the novel he didn’t want TianQi to tell her before he died, because even if it was imminent, Shanggu could still stop him. There’s a time between the last time TianQi talks to Bai Jue. In the novel he gives the box to TianQi, in the drama to YuanQi. They just changed the person who would give it to Shanggu. But again, that’s my opinion from what I’ve read and watched, the interpretation for his intentions is up to the readers and we don’t need to agree always.

If Bai Jue returns it to her, it’s obviously his intention otherwise he wouldn’t give it lol he wanted her to have her memories back, both in the novel and in the drama. I just mentioned the novel because his intentions are better explained there, but for me, at least, in the drama is pretty clear that his intention when he gives the box to YuanQi is to give the memories back to Shanggu. And for me it’s right thing to do, he couldn’t hide it from her forever. It doesn’t make sense if he gives the box to YuanQi give to his mother and does not want her to have her memories back? It’s contradiction.

The confusion is because in the novel he just took the memories of God’s Realm, the memories of the tribulation and Bai Jue saying he loved her. But the painful memories of Houchi, Shanggu lost naturally but she regain on herself when she gets ancient sword back. So what Bai Jue takes from her is the tribulation memories so she can’t discover what he is doing, in the end he asks TianQi to give it back to her, and that’s how she understands what he did and starts praying for him to comeback. In the novel they put Houchi memories together with the tribulation memories so it kind kills Bai Jue’s logic.

I always have this feeling that he is so pretty that you get confused looking at him, sometimes I forget to read the subtitles when he is on the screen lol

QingMu is Bai Jue without all the concerns and responsibilities. Bai Jue is cold because he has to be, not because he wanted. QingMu is part of Bai Jue’s spirit, the warm part lol.

He really wanted to give her memories back, because Bai Jue wanted to sacrifice, not to be hated forever.

In the novel its just mentioned that he reincarnates, like in the drama.

He nailed that moment, also the moment Shanggu said she knows he is hiding something and leaves the hall, Bai Jue tries to hold the tears again and again, but it end falling anyways, urgh, Xu Kai nailed I got imersed in his acting for most of the drama.

We are just watching raw after long time watching chinese dramas you can understand most of what is said.

This is what Shanggu thinks the moment she hear Bai Jue say "Shanggu, its me, Bai Jue" in the end of the book, it ends like that. For Shanggu, that moment was the happiest moment of her life and nothing would ever be better than, so I'm happy the show did justice and kept faithful to the novel in the end, it ended with the perfect moment for Shanggu.

In my option this has more angsty. L&R has too much fights and sects and painful moments, but this one is more emotional because they actually love each other and in L&R most of the time is one sided love from the ML.

Also, WuHuan is such a complex villain, I felt pity for her the moment she saw Jing Jian dead, she is evil but she loved her children, A LOT. It's different from the average villains in Xianxias, she always said she rely only on herself and not on any men, she was clever and capable, she had everything to be awesome, but her insecurity about her birth origin made her sabotage herself. The character was so well built, and the actress did a great job, I hate her with all my guts lol

I think he is, that moment was incredible, Bai Jue can hide his feelings but QingMu can't the moment he saw Shanggu his eyes said everything.

JingJian death was so painful, right? To be pierced by thousands swords at once, I think it was the most painful death in the drama, poor Jing Jian.
