Yes, its common for c dramas to take 2 years to air after filming. But recently the c dramas are airing around one year after, really its not something objective some shows even take three years.

I don't believe in those rumors. It's like a lopping, melons put a rumored date, everybody get engrossed by it, melons say the show is being edited again to cover their fake rumor flop, fans cry. Its like the third time this happens. The show won't premier in August because Tencent don't want to premiere now, when Tencent wants it, it will premiere. Really, this show finished production in 2020, I know we want it now, but its quite a reasonable time for chinese dramas. It usually takes two to three years to air.

not really, just some scenes were longer, some hugs were less that a second longer, nothing really substantial. But Priest novels already doesn't have anything explicit. It's different from 2HA. 2HA will have lots of censured scenes, no doubt, you can really expect that they follow the novel at it is, is impossible.
