My point is that I do expected they would choose top actors for my favorite book’s adaptation since they had a big budget and took so long to choose the cast. But yeah, if this is what we got, I just hope they are talented and can give us good acting.

Xianxias actually needs a HUGE budget on CGI that’s why it needs money, just look at Ancient Love Poetry, Eternal Faith needs that level of CGI but I don’t think we will get that. And having heard CGI team (same from Ashes of Love) left production makes me feel pain.

I'll stop and let more episodes air then I will try again, but now I'm struggling because I want to see Yang Yang and Dilraba and I like some parts of the plot, but the way they portray it is not working for tv.
