Agree! I hope for a prequel and if it is, we will probably get a younger cast, but if it’s another generation it would be a older cast but I hope for top acting like in the first one.

King’s Avatar is a good drama if the second season does as good as the first season will definitely help him but again it’s another similar character, just look Love O2O, King’s Avatar and YAMG, are all super smart leads with nerds personality. He needs to do something different. The most different he did was Martial Universe but it was a huge flop.

Yang Yang failed to make a explosive hit after Love O2O, and the flop Martial Universe damaged his poppularity value a little. But I don't think YAMG will be the breakup up drama for him yet because its another nerd ML like Love O2O. YangYang needs a big XiangXia, a good one.

So on point, I have hope the drama will fix the last part of the book, that for me, is just a mess. The author really lost track in the final part.

Yes, we can agree to disagree. As I understood in the novel he didn’t want TianQi to tell her before he died, because even if it was imminent, Shanggu could still stop him. There’s a time between the last time TianQi talks to Bai Jue. In the novel he gives the box to TianQi, in the drama to YuanQi. They just changed the person who would give it to Shanggu. But again, that’s my opinion from what I’ve read and watched, the interpretation for his intentions is up to the readers and we don’t need to agree always.

If Bai Jue returns it to her, it’s obviously his intention otherwise he wouldn’t give it lol he wanted her to have her memories back, both in the novel and in the drama. I just mentioned the novel because his intentions are better explained there, but for me, at least, in the drama is pretty clear that his intention when he gives the box to YuanQi is to give the memories back to Shanggu. And for me it’s right thing to do, he couldn’t hide it from her forever. It doesn’t make sense if he gives the box to YuanQi give to his mother and does not want her to have her memories back? It’s contradiction.

The confusion is because in the novel he just took the memories of God’s Realm, the memories of the tribulation and Bai Jue saying he loved her. But the painful memories of Houchi, Shanggu lost naturally but she regain on herself when she gets ancient sword back. So what Bai Jue takes from her is the tribulation memories so she can’t discover what he is doing, in the end he asks TianQi to give it back to her, and that’s how she understands what he did and starts praying for him to comeback. In the novel they put Houchi memories together with the tribulation memories so it kind kills Bai Jue’s logic.

I always have this feeling that he is so pretty that you get confused looking at him, sometimes I forget to read the subtitles when he is on the screen lol
