OMG episodes 19 and 20 were sooooo good. Thanks to the character building in first phase, now I care so much for them, watching Tianqi and Yuemi again hit me in a soft spot, I love them together I wish Yuemi could reincarnate. But how Tianqi survived? I mean, we saw him diying, whats going on?
Am I the only one who thinks the drama got boring/went downhill after they reincarnated? My opinion only. No hate…
I think this happens because you just watched a climax part and then all started again, its a natural feeling to feel bored, but I'm excited to see Shangu new personality and how Bai Jue will comeback.

Is this drama worth watching? I do like the Xianxia genre but I've been reading a lot of negative review videos…
Don’t let reviews stay in your way to start this. The first 12 are a bit slow but not boring slow, if you take this start as a storytelling you will grow attached to the characters, the beginning is like a prequel for what will happen in the future and helps you understand better the story. I got hooked since the start and I enjoyed the first episodes so much that I miss it now lol
Honestly, this is the only CDrama that managed to make me crazily binge it after Word of Honor. I thought that…
Some people just don’t like the genre, then go to criticize the “tropes”. I mean, if you don’t like the genre why bother review it? Just to complain...This is one of the best Xianxias I’ve seen, really well made and with a good plot and writing. Some scenes could have a better emotional direction but it’s not that bad, overall is great.
Bo Xuan has Bai Jue's memory but he is more of Houchi protector when he went through tribulation he became Qing…
I hope it doesn’t cause misunderstanding between Houchi and Bai Jue, like Houchi fall for the puppet, kind like Bai Qian fell for Ye Hua and forget Mo Yuan. I can’t wait for the next episodes.
Wow I love episode 18, they finally got their wish to grow together and go to adventures together, this drama is making me so soft all the time, I really grew attached to the characters!
I know what you mean about the acting in their separation but I think it has to do with the directing. Yue Mi’s…
I agree, the directing seems to pull off great scenery and aesthetics but doesn’t have a good emotional scene sensibility. I found the scene where they play the game, both knowing he was trying to grant her final wishes, empty and fast. Just compare this to the scene of Ashes of Love where Jin Mi gives her hair to Phoenix knowing she would kill him in the next day, is so much more emotional. The director is really missing awesome emotional moments. In the scene when Shanggu dies, Xu Kai’s face and emotional charge doesn’t match the dubbing, it’s so forced that it really disconnects me from the emotional moment. And it proceeds to a really stiff position looking up with his arms down like he was ready to a military parade, as for the leading lady, she looked emotionless? Really lacking scene, and I blame the director, since all other emotional romantic moments including with other actors are lacking too.
I haven't seen the movie but congrats to her! Not to take this away from her but why is it that Korean has become…
Korea is investing and producing lots of American movies. That’s why you see korean actors in marvel movies, warner movies, and many others and that’s why you see a a Hollywood film about a korean family. Nothing is a coincidence, they are giving money to them.
I was looking forward to sageuks and fusion sageuks since it is my favorite genre among kdramas and, unfortunately, rare these days because of the production cost. Now, besides the production cost, the precedent that the drama you produced and put money on can be cancelled by a outburst of knetz will probably put a shovel of sand over any future attempt. We will get more rich man poor girl cliche, romantic comedy of same roof couple, sunday family dramas, school dramas, and that’s it. Each year I watch less and less Korean dramas...
you have no right to tell koreans how they should feel about their history. stick to yours like everyone of us…
In case you didn’t noticed, it’s a free speech platform. And I don’t need to be Korean to identify extreme nationalism,, there’s plenty of it in the world, it’s not Korea’s exclusive.
Seriously this has gone over too far. A fictional drama being pulled off because it showed some Chinese things. And yet, Koreans expect to market over China with its idols and actors. Just because they can’t hear that Korean culture is influenced by Chinese culture, which is obviously true! Korea was a Chinese protectorate for more than thousand years. That doesn’t mean that Korean culture isnt rich and, of course, Korean! Every culture in the world is influenced by another at some point of its history, there’s no such thing as “pure” culture. Now knetz want to destroy people’s lives based on hate and extreme nationalism, some 100.000 people that put a precedent that they can actually cancel a fictional tv show.
“But the clothes don’t cover your face”
These two will be my death lol
