She knows she's good at nothing, she admits it when she compared herself to each and every of her sister. She knew that, but she doesn't work on her own skills. I think for a person who doesn't even work on herself like that, should know how to have lower expectation. The way she always fight for expensive things, and even dreaming of man out of her leagues... and accusing the mother of not loving her like everyone else... she irks me, but it's bc she totally reminds me too much of some greedy people I used to know.

The cool thing about Cdramas made in the 90s and early 2000s is that, they don't give a sh!t about "romance" and "who is the FL" but they focus on professionalism, making sure everything is executed very professionally. Even when the plot can get boring, all they care is executing the show professionally, or what I mean is, they make sure everything looks realistic.
For example, there is another show this actor Huang Haibing did with Zhang Ting, she played as the Fire General Yang Pei Feng. While I like both leads in there, that show didn't seem to have any plot at all, but it was still engaging because of how professional all the shots were.
They care about making sure the acting is realistic. Making sure the fighting action scenes are realistic and creative, not just making babies moves any noobs can come up with. Making sure each and every camera angles and lighting were shot with careful attention, not just filming things randomly like today.

So to answer your question who is the FL, there is no FL, and directors back then don't give a sh!t about those type of things. The truth is, the audience don't give a sh!t either, it's just a thing today people do so they can make fanwar because their idols need some "noise" to stay relevant or make extra bucks. What made this show so memorable is the fact that there is no true FL, and it's controversial who the ML really loved. Today, shows like this cannot deliver anymore, because one thing is directors don't know how to be professional, they can't make things look realistic enough and things will come off pretentious, on top of that, the audience are also mostly 99% water armies paid to say sh!t. Shows today must rely on another strategy to fit their level of expertise in filming. Back then, it's all about realism. You can say both are FL, or you can say Fei Fei is the FL and not Qi Qi, and you can also say Qi Qi is the FL but not Fei Fei, and it all makes sense. You can also say the same about whether the ML likes both ladies, or one vs the other. It all makes sense.

Although 4th sister is extreme detestable to me in each and every way, she is realistic. The way she protray the role is exactly what I saw through in my 2nd to youngest sister too. I guess that's just how 2nd to youngest girls are like.

Cause they know she is a marketing queen. She markets on others, but others also use her to market for themselves.
I'm poor myself, and I don't even hate rich people. Liu Yifei is rich too, I am still grateful to this day directors have eyes to pick her to play the Little Dragon Girl. I only care about the quality. Whoever fits the bill, work hard, and has good attitudes, that's what matters. I don't like characters like Trashta, those who read The Remarried Empress on Webtoon knows what' I'm saying. 😂

For Esther, I noticed her ever since Youth 2018, she boldly played a mean girl who even ended up being kidnapped by her ex and tortured, her scenes were very bold and made a long term impression. She slowly climbed to lead roles.

For ZLY, she might had starred as extras here and there numerous times in her early days, but always appearing for 5-15 minutes, making NO IMPRESSION on anyone... She relied on really big names like Zhou Xun, Tang Guo Qiang, Ray Liu, Ning Jing, Xu Zheng, etc. when she played extras for them. The method didn't work as those big names were aging and the rising stars were Yang Mi and Liu Shi Shi. She is still bitter about it because she is in the same age group as them but couldn't get famous at the same time. She promoted NONE of her early works such as The Amateur Imperial Bodyguard (2010), a 30 EPISODES drama where she was the LEAD and she got that role in 2010, you can do the math, she started her acting career in 2016, it was only 4 years and she rose to leading roles. The reason she won't promote them? Petty! She looks too different in 2010, she doesn't want anyone to know how she used to look. Then why the hell does she keeps on hiring writers to compare her with others all the time how they're so ugly but she's the prettiest? IDK! Maybe that's how hard she works! There is an article out there comparing how Esther looks ugly and nothing like a princess while ZLY looks like the real princess. Stupid AF! ZLY sure works too hard in marketing.

I have to thanks the character Zi Qi, and Ding Yuxi who played it so believably, the final scene was just too deep and touching. It's like seeing Fu Zhou curing himself and it helps us cure our own selves too, those of us who can relate to him. This is more than just a fantasy or xianxia drama. It is unfair that this genre gets stomped on in the last decade, just because some insecure females started categorizing this genre "NON-SERIOUS" to get rid of competitors... serious or not, this might be the first drama that ever touched me so spiritually, the ending in Scent of Time was also very meaningful but this one is on another level. Thanks to the whole crew who made this show possible.

LOL! Remember the first time when Miao Miao told Zi Qi about Fu Zhou and Zi Qi was like "what if he's ugly?" 😂 Maybe Fu Zhou doesn't have the same appearance as Zi Qi 😂 JK.

Zhao Lusi and Esther Yu are friends, I believe. Or at least I know Bai Lu is Zhao Lusi's friend for sure, and Bai Lu is also Esther Yu's friend for sure, so they are tightly connected in the same circle. Even the male leads they act with are all the same. The 2 of them will not market against behind each other's back, they friended each other already so those type of accusations will never succeed.

TSOPG is definitely a must watch and must finish, but it's not addicting and I can wait without any anxiety. I dropped it for now, and plan to binge watching it later. I believe I surpassed 15 episodes and there was still no chemistry between any of the leads. Storywise, it's watchable. Romance wise, I don't like any of the male characters. While LGIEF is way too addicting, if anyone starts it, there's no way they can drop it anymore, the pacing is fast and the chemistry is just too strong. I'm not surprised why LGIEF Is getting so much attention, it's full of fun and excitement. While TSOPG has a sad tone to everything.

Chi Sha's profile pic does him no justice. I didn't watch him in the LOCH remake because it was so boring. This is the first time I truly watched his acting. I'm in love. I don't care what y'all say and how crazy he is and all that... he can be crazy after me LMAO! 😂 In my dreams. He's too hot for me to care whether he's right or wrong, evil or good. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 JK JK!

Zhang Wan Yi really shines in this role. I love his real life personality as well. Ren Min reminds me of Li Xiaolu who won golden horse at age 16. Back in the days when natural beauty was still appreciated, Li Xiaolu was considered a great beauty. I find Ren Min beautiful while in today's standard everyone wants the same replicated silicon face. Ren Min will do really well in filming, I didn't watch her movies but Zhang Wan Yi did his homework, during their interview he was so sincere, he said he watched her works already and liked it so much so he was excited to work with her. I can tell from the photos of those movies that she performed really well just like what he said.

Nobody heard Wu Jinyan saying she wants to be "ZLY" through her own mouth. We only heard that through Yumama, he said that's what Wu Jinyan told him. Who can trust anything out of Yumama's mouths?
The relationship between Yumama and ZLY is very controversial. I think I know what he's trying to do. He wants Wu Jinyan and more of his artists to win awards. He done the same things to Bai Lu too. When he wanted Bai Lu to win an award ZLY was eyeing, he also praised ZLY together with Bai Lu at the same time.
Each time, he always made sure to praise ZLY before praising his own artists, then he will explain why they also deserves to be her equal. Yumama is never lenient to his competitors, we'd seen how cruel he was to Yang Zi, Zhao Lusi, Ruby Lin, etc. Although he seems to made up with Yang Mi, there are still times he is very bitter about her success. He will make annoying remarks about YM's acting to add fuel to the fire and destroy YM further. He only spare ZLY, if not because of her scary connections, what else can it be, they have romantic relationships?
ZLY already made it very cut-throat clear to everyone that she wants those awards, even with Yumama's guts he wouldn't dare offend. He doesn't give up, so he will be slick and careful of course. He remains on extremely good terms with ZLY, wishing her happy birthday every year at the right timing and calling her name dearly as "Yingbao". When he collects debt from artists he thinks they owe him he overcharges them, but for his Yingbao he doesn't dare to at all. There's only 2 possible theories here. One, Yu Zheng is trying to elevate his artists through the safest method he can think of by not offending ZLY. Second, Yu Zheng sacrifices Wu Jinyan by making fun of her, to make ZLY happy.

Awards don't define a person's talent, ability, and success. Wu Jinyan is great and that's enough.

Zhao Liying sure uses her money wisely, always paying the media to talk shits.

While Wu Jinyan doesn't care about winning awards, everyone knows how desperately ZLY wants those awards and Wu Jinyan is definitely the biggest threat right now.

Even the particular people she likes must have something related to internationalism. I.E. Kris Wu, Zhang Yimou, Feng Xiaogang, etc. The actresses she hates most are also ones who reached international fame. I.E. Liu Yifei, Jing Tian, Yang Mi, Angela Baby, Guiliza, etc.
ZLY relies on fake data, the first person in the entire world to surpass 20 billion views, that's how she got popular in China. The way she thinks she can get popular internationally through the same method. She still doesn't get it, human population is only about 8 billion.
No matter how much she uses her secret workers to stir up trouble, a skill-less person will remain a skill-less person because she is unwilling to work hard.
