So I figured out, whenever YZ gain some attentions, the fans saying they are fans from this and that, are all fake. If they are true fans, they will not tell you who they stan.

I was expecting the worst out of Lost You Forever but oh boy I was wrong! Cause all the guys in it were new. Fortunately, when I saw Deng Wei, I was glad cause it's a familiar face I already knew from TTEOTM. But when YZ chose to work with all these guys, they were unknown, TTEOTM haven't air nobody have a clue whether Deng Wei will be a pass or fail yet. Deng Wei's character is still the quiet and nice guy, but he really manages to play it differently and non repititive. The chemistry worked right away, I'm glad for their success. Yang Zi made the right choice. Not just Deng Wei, the other 2 male leads are just as fabulous. This is a lesson to learn, don't always judge new actors. Everyone needs to start somewhere. Rely on a good director and production, not big names. Looking back, in the past, things used to be like that, actors don't act big like today, whoever the director pick then actors will work with them without sending out their fans to bark. Yang Zi revived a very good work ethics from the past, now I am feeling more skeptical about Liu Shi Shi's upcoming drama as well bc I was also feeling down that the men in there are also super new.
I hope Yang Zi can earn some recognition for this role in Lost You Forever. She was able to bring out a new type of acting and fresh interpretation of the character, doesn't feel copied or redundant like what we've seen for years now. Xianxia suddenly got typecasted as immature genres after 2015, I'm afraid no matter how good these actors are, if the genre is Xianxia people will make excuses that the actors deserve nothing. Lots of so call "serious" genres these days fail the most basic things, understanding lighting and shadow. The quality in Lost You Forever is very good, the lighting is perfect and professional. Storytelling is also fast and engaging, I don't ever care what the story is, but the storytelling aspect needs to be good, and Lost You Forever is professional as hell.
