I love the visuals, love the cast, they all are playing their roles for real, I love the king - he is so sensual, every food scene becomes erotic feast . But in my personal opinion, the FML is miscased. She is doing way too many facial expressions, and she is doing too much 'playing comedy'. To my eyes it is not funny, but annoying. I like her enough in scenes where she feeds the king, amusingly, she acts like she did in King The Land, but in other scenes it is too ... fake, and overboard.

The question is not about vaseline, it was about writing. They find him, bow to him, clothe him but never address the arrow in his shoulder.

Traveling back in time and keeping her wits about her was made into 8 Outlander books. So it is a matter of writing to make it work, not tropes. Outlander drama did make Claire a little bit more modern than in the books, but nearly not as much as k-dramas do it.

One thing I find strange about most k-dramas and c-dramas with backward travel, is how much time they give FML to get a grip, and how stubbornly 'modern' they make her behave throughout. We don't travel in time, and don't have direct experience, but normal people don't behave like that if they suddenly find themselves alone, stranded in a totally unfamiliar and dangerous environment, and need to survive. Normal humans, or most of them, - have a built in sense of real danger, and the first thing they do, they try to play along with whatever is happening, and figure out where they are, and what is going on and how to save themselves. I mean, maybe writers think doing the opposite makes for good comedy, but it has been done so many times it is not really funny any more.

I just started it, and I love it! It is fun!

Facianting, I asked a question: is she going to behave this way to the end? The answers: drop the drama, you are hating, what would you do? You remind me of this FML - she also doesn't read what is written, but jumps to conclusion and goes into a tizzy. One more thing: she is not real. She is ink on a page, she can't die.

It is the genre, all these dramas are full of illogical and exaggerated things and overthetop situation and extreme emotions. Most events in this drama are absolutely nonsensical, I think.

I am on ep 3, really trying to get onto it. But the FML behaves like a complete lunatic and it looks bewilderingly stupid. (and no, she doesn't look strong or comlex as some suggested) . Is this going to go this way for 40 eps?

WTAF with these pathetic chinese drama endings?! This drama is pure gold, premise, humor, fights, acting, relationships, fantastic FMLs, great MLs, excellent cast, interesting story, though they speed it up too much second part. And then they go and do this idiotic, tear jerking everybody is dead thing for no good reason!! WTF?
