What does mafan mean?

We still don't know as they only post the airing schedule for the week. It won't be over by march 4th if they follow the same schedule we've had so far.

We get quite a few scenes where the other (female) intern is looking at Wen Yifan, mostly watching her interactions with Mu Cheng. I wonder if that's going somewhere, if she'll have a role in later episodes, maybe help the rumors floating around Wen Yifan (she wasn't in the novel). I hope she is a supportive character who sees Wen Yifan for who she is, I don't want more drama at her workplace.

He was there is case Wen Yifan started sleepwalking again. When she asked him what he was doing there, he jokingly said he sleepwalked. He always covers up the things he does for her with jokes or sarcasm, that's why he said that

I think it's because of her personality, there is no way she would tell him. She doesn't really share her troubles with her friends, not now or in the past.

Yeah yeah, but I wonder if he has an inkling right now, in the present, that it might be reciprocated. She was pretending to sleepwalk and he might have a feeling it was pretending. He is also becoming more bold, calling her out for blushing etc.

YES exactly, it might not seem like a big deal, but it's like the first time Wen Yifan is going after something, being selfish, taking a risk, giving love a chance.
And I know how happy that made Sang Yan, the girl that he loved for so long asked him if she can chase him, if she even has a chance. I feel like he was screaming YES YES YES on the inside. It's heartwarming

Yeah I think so too! Like he's aware she gets self conscious around him, that she's blushing, but he doesn't realize that she acts like that only around him. Like "oh she might have a crush on me, it's a good start" when in reality he is at the finish line and she just needs a little nudge to confess to him because she's bad at realizing her own feelings

I really wonder how much of Sang Yan's teasing is just wishful thinking and how much is him actually noticing that yes, WenYifan kinda likes him (I'm thinking 90% is wishful thinking, he has been hurt before)

For example, when he calls her obsessed, it's clearly him projecting, but does he realize there is a little bit of truth to it?
He isn't unaware of her feelings right until the confession, so when does he start noticing these things?

Poor Wen Yifan, when she started crying my heart broke for her. People are talking about how can she not see how Sang Yan feels about her, but when your PARENT doesn't care about you, the person who should love you just for existing... it's really hard to believe there is someone who will love you when you're literally drowning, when you feel like you're nothing but trouble for other people. So yeah it's totally natural that she doesn't believe in eternal love (title of the manhua lolol).

But now she is seeing the things Sang Yan does for her and it's really cute. It's not even these huge confessions of love, it's small things like making her breakfast in the morning or putting more lights for when she's sleepwalking, buying her soup and picking her up. Since her father passed nobody did those things for her and it's just really really sweet.

I honestly can't wait for Wen Yifan chasing Sang Yan arc. Mostly because of Sang Yan. His soul needs it. And I can't wait to see how Bai Jing Ting portrays that part of the story. So far he has been the perfect Sang Yan, just how I imagined him while reading the novel. I loved him in You are my hero too.

Yeah after he tried to assault her, she left her home and lived with a policewoman. She just wanted to be far away from her family, escape her situation

Her family member who tried to rape her, idk what exactly he is to her, but he lived with WenYifan, her uncle and aunt

No breakup. Not a misunderstanding, but Wen Yifan keeps some things secret from Sang Yan and she apologizes and tells him about what happened in the past

He gives up when he finds out the two are dating

It should be hers, she'll at least tell him she wants to start chasing him

The episode comes out at 5am for me, I fell asleep😭

It broke my heart when she started crying. That's for everyone saying she doesn't care for him and saying she's indifferent. She just assumes people will leave her life, it seems natural for her. But she cares so much.
