Urgh another love triangle? The drama's aesthetics & the artistic approach look promising tho..
I have a feeling that both leads' outfits & scenery would be exquisite!

Basically no romance as a warning to those who might be disappointed on that aspect like me.
Should've read your comment before watching lol

Title My Name
Been waiting for this one to air. Some sites say it has romance & some others don't, maybe it's subtle..
Either way, i can't wait for it to start ♥

She didn't kill both her parents. She killed her stepfather when he killed her mother in a beating.
It's one of my (different) interpretations that goes like this:
They didn't outright say it, but it is IMPLIED that she DID in fact kill them both. Because probably her stepdad hurt her and her mom didn't leave him..(from here she got the twisted idea of the "happily ever-after")
Her "frail" self could've just been a persona she was playing, while deceiving (her adoptive mom & neighbour AND the viewers). She was a machiavellian killer (not a victim) but no one noticed. The TWO white roses in the vase in the very beginning symbolized her body count (her parents).
When the ML asked the "romanticist" Author if she saw it happen. She said NO ONE did, they believe whatever story SHE told them. (this is important because of WHO is saying what they "believe" happened, cuz she told them so)
In this version the Author is "delusional" and believes whatever IDEALS she loves to believe in. (that's also why she believed the ML-regardless of who he is- loves the FL no matter what).

Jasper Liu Yi-hao (Chinese: 劉以豪; born August 12, 1986) is a Taiwanese actor, model, and musician. His name…
Yup, as Aristotle calls it "unsympathetic comedy protagonist". 😁
Comedy portrays people worst than they actually are. Beside the giggles, this leaves room for an interesting plot progression & character growth.

Romance has been looked down upon because it is traditionally written by women for women and values the parts…
You explained it eloquently. Romance genre is as (dis)likeable like any other genre and tropes (whether we like/hate them) are creative devices that serve a "points of anchorage" role, by providing meaning to stories viewed within the romantic scope.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your comment.😊

Yeah, i love that video.
Well for me, that's probably because it was fun & lovely to read thanks to the overall bubbly tone of your article, the warm-toned & fluffy images/gifs as well as the child-like enthusiasm & fangirling you show to your favourite series. :3

Maybe I'm just dumb but I had to rack my brains to read the article.
Haha love the self-deprecatory humour but no you're not! That's totally my fault. Was i too pretentious? 😂
I wrote this intentionally with literary technical jargon to encourage (hopefully a more-or-less serious) discussion despite the whimsical format.
If people find it a tiny bit compelling, funny and/or take the time to look up a new word. I'd feel like this endeavour was a success! ♥
