Or could have a child together, while doing their jobs.
Agreed, though i believe there's smtg far more sinister at play than certain fans' fantasy/delusion.. It's the industry that feeds on the "idolatry" by "manufacturing" the perfect concept+product (aka idol) and creating hard-core fans for life, by making them obsess over their idols 24/7, watching them days & night as they eat, sleep, dance, sing, etc. In order to create the subservience of the "ultimate fan/zombie/follower.." which buys whatever content their beloved idols put out. It is a pathologically complex cycle if you ask me.
exactly, and like he was trying to save money and face before now look what happened? I mean to be honest the…
EXACTLY, it ended up back-firing at him cuz of his "alleged" cowardice and irresponsibility. I believe he was in a tough situation. He wanted to eat the cake and have it too (other Kcelebrities just took responsibility for their unborn child, but he had other priorities..) But the woman (from my perspective) literally had it tougher (physically+mentally).. That's what i was thinking too. "Hurt people, hurt people." My guess is that she probably wanted closure and to inflict some emotional harm to get back at him (for "allegedly" coercing her to abort+ breaking her heart/expectations & ghosting her) after all that happened between them?
Or could have a child together, while doing their jobs.
Yeah, many Kcelebrities had done it before. I guess his choices /priorities lied elsewhere.. But the fault lies within the system/industry itself too for allowing such "unspoken, unethical restrictions" to exist. That way such unfortunate situations won't be reccuring cuz of unreasonable and absurd expectations.
If any of what she claimed is true (since he is indeed apoligizing for it). She should've sued him for the "alleged" psychological stress and alleged "coercion into abortion & false marriage promises" (which can be a HUGE deal in conservative countries). Instead, she posted the whole thing (and other intimate matters) online to have some closure & get even for the "ghosting & breakup" by cancelling him, i guess? Well, this won't take away from the allegedly "horrible/cowardly" things he did. But it does NOT excuse her from her own responsibility (in the abortion matter) and that public unbecoming behavior either. Either way, this whole messy situation(and perhaps that sad abortion) could've been prevented if SK celebrities could marry freely while keeping their jobs instead of pretending to be "single & available for ever" while they're nearing 30/40..?!
OMO! I was thinking where did i see him? It was in JessiShowterview for Shark's promotion! If he's the ML with Kim Go Eun, i'm so gonna watch that drama!
Haven't watched the other dramas yet. In Mysterious Love's defense. The leads chemistry was off the roof. The ML's intense gaze was hawt. It was indeed cringe & inconsistent story-wise but it had its clumsy sprinkles of charm here & there. The vulnerable & boyish demeanor -as you pointed out- was obviously at odds with the "tough cookie who has seen it all" concept. Even so, that kind of Moe Gap was actually endearing and befitting for a campy rom-com that never commits to heavy notions. The 0.1 score was SAVAGE AF tho lol Last but not least, i'm amused by your pleasantly biting article. I'm hoping for a follow-up. :3
I'm quite baffled as much as you are. No one would ever do smtg like that & still expect to keep their job. Cuz…
Tho i was perplexed by some minor "inconsistencies" (such as this one) i'm honestly having so much fun watching this silly drama to overlook 'em all :3
How come that employee have her job when she is constantly talking mad shit about her director to other people…
I'm quite baffled as much as you are. No one would ever do smtg like that & still expect to keep their job. Cuz if she's talking shit to her director, Dali can overlook it, but if she's doing it with other ppl with no remorse whatsoever, she's basically damaging Dali's reputation which is plenty of reason to get fired..
