Indeed. From my personal experience, i can confidently surmise that the best romance stories are ones where it is subtle, poetic and inventive. Despite the recognizable patterns and the foresseable outcome. Many thought-provoking genres marry well with the romantic tones and give them more depth and color.
Hmmm how about i watch a mystery detective thriller crime series WITH romance? Or i can simply watch it without any.. That would be nice too. Also why can't it be both? Romance isn't limited to shoujo comedy you know... I didn't say i only like romcoms neither. So why be dismissive abt it? Why am i not allowed to be curious abt what i want to or not to watch and make my own decision accordingly? I asked this cuz it has the exact same synopsis as many of my favourite manga... So it wouldn't be suprising at all if it had some. Thus, my question and comment!

Shin Hye Sun better win best leading actress forher role in "Mr. Queen"! ♥ Lee Jun Ki in "Flower of Evil" was great! He should win an award for his role! ♥ I haven't even watched "Beyond Evil" but i know Shin Ha Kyun is such a phenomenal actor that he'll be worth it!
Memorable mentions: "It's Okay not to be Okay" FL's character was such a breath of fresh air but i didn't like the drama that much.. Best new actor: I loved Song Kang in "Sweet Home" He was a precious bean! If only the ML in "Uncanny Counter" was only nominated tho... He made that drama extremely enjoyable to watch T . T I just realized that i watched a lot of dramas this year lol
