I wholeheartedly agree with what you said except the "all japanese" part.. It would be sensible to not amalgamate/descriminate…
LOL it's not today's citizens either. Also it is their government and military that refuse to make amendements and is still in territorial disputes. I find it bafling that someone blames 126 million people in a hateful & prejudiced trash bag.. I hope people will point the blame where it should be directed: To all unujst systems and colonial countries instead and voiced their strong opinions for the countries that are colonized to this day instead of blaming it on people who never went to war, killed people or actively participated in a nasty military operation, people who oppose & condemn colonisation and are nowadays just minding their business.
If ones closes the door for compassion, exchange and human understanding. Then we're all doomed. Also that can only mean that they are just shifting blame & pointing fingers and they are not looking to productively solve problems alleviate tensions & conflicts and create a better environment for nations to live peacefully together. Hopefully you'll find it in you to drop out of limiting belief & harfmul narrative. Have a great day!

I find it insensible to blame the whole population for the atrocities their government committed in the past where military and geopolitical expansion was how most countries were living by... It is a complex situation, simplifying it by dismissing a whole nation like that won't make us grow as human beings. It's not like any other colonial/segragational country has officially apologized/made amendments & reparations for the bloodshed they caused.. It's not like most of the citizens right now have participated militarly in those wars.. Singling out the "japanese" people when most are just trying to live their lives peacefully now is cowardly. Everybody speaks for themselves or else we'd all be bombarded just because our countries had done horrible things in the past in the name of spreading their ideals... Instead of discriminating on citizens, which will make life unbearable for all parties involved. I think it's better to waste that effort on countries who are right now colonizing other countries and causing bloodshed and urging the countries that caused suffering in the past to make amendments and reforming or better yet obliterating such systems..
Hmm i know some people take it too far and can be quite mean esp when talking abt somebody's appearance, which…
Also i'm not judging him as a person but i highly condemn his actions and i hope he learns from this and grows as a person and comes back as a wiser and more compassionate human being.
Jesus talk about judging a book by its cover smh...Both these ppl that commented underneath me really need to…
Hmm i know some people take it too far and can be quite mean esp when talking abt somebody's appearance, which is quite superficial... But your overly emotional rant isn't gonna change the fact that this was NOT an accident. Doesn't matter if it's 3 or 30 minutes.. He did NOT come back of his own accord because he was a good person but because the witness CHASED him with their car after they fled the scene. He didn't care to check if someone was dying tho.. He was too busy fleeing.. Also if he was repentful he should've came up with a better apology. Instead of saying i was immature, sorry the "accident" hurt people..
Furthermore, if everyone started saying it's nobody's fault because a car/motocycle hit someone and they died , because they didn't "intend" to do it & didn't plot it, then we're gonna be in a huge pinch .. An accident is when you break a couple of dishes at your home... Not when you hit people with your vehicle and flee like a coward and when you get busted you post a lame apology.. Also it is not based on shitty opinion & feelings. It's based on the pattern of his selfish, criminal & highly unethical actions.
I'm writing this in reply to some comments i've seen around here..
1- BRUH he only returned because a witness chased him with their car and told him to go back to the scene. =.= 2- It IS about being a coward and a criminal that clearly lacks ethics & who refuses to acknowledge what they had done wrong. 3- He'd be rotting in jail if someone died.. But he didn't stop to check if someone did, he instead fled the scene and someone else catched him... 4- He only paid because he was caught not cause he repented on his own accord. 5-Saying that it merely was because of his "lack of awareness and immaturity" is not gonna do him any good. That's not a proper apology and that surely wasn't an "accident" either since one party is responsible for it happening in the first place.. Saying people got injured "because of the accident" instead of clearly saying that it was HIS fault that they were injured.
Anyways, since thankfully no one died and both parties reached a settlement and he publicly apologized and is now suffering the consequences of his actions, hopefully he can reflect on this and do better as a person & as a public figure.
It's all about the wording. Just like the Japanese did throughout their history, he would never admit his own…
I wholeheartedly agree with what you said except the "all japanese" part.. It would be sensible to not amalgamate/descriminate against people like this..
Oh i really like KSG but "It will depict the story of a woman who will avenge for another woman who got hurt by a trash like guy"... I hope the "trash guy" isn't the ML like the good ol' "John Tucker Must Die"..
Omo omo omo!! Woo-shik-ah! I'm sure it's because of their respective roles in The Witch. I wish they'll give them complex, ambiguous, mysterious characters here as well. ^o^
I thought i was the only one bored with the porcelain doll-like persona.. They always give him a placid, lackluster,…
Oh i didn't get the "wrong" idea about him. I think he's a talented actor but as i wrote before "they always give him placid, lackluster, taciturn characters" to play. Which is unfair... Maybe it's due to a certain "commercially manifactured image" he obtained or simply because of his features, and what the "romcom makjang" genre and its tropes require..
We're almost the same age (only 2 years age difference) but this boy looks really young, like highschooler young! I'm offended xD Will this be a noona romance? I don't mind one. Anyways, i'll check it out if PMY accepts the role.
I like Nana, but Lee Min Ki makes me doubt about watching this. He bores me to death :/I'll wait to read thoughts…
I thought i was the only one bored with the porcelain doll-like persona.. They always give him a placid, lackluster, taciturn character. Maybe they'll give him a more vibrant, high-spirited character.. We'll wait and see..
