Was this series mind blowing, no, but I was entertained. It would have been nice to see other couples have more screen time and what is with the title of the show, they should rename it Charlie, because it really was all about him and not Babe. This series for both one and two would have been so much better had they cast someone else for Charlie because Pooh is not a good enough actor to carry the part. Maybe they can do a part 3 and give us stories on the other couples and how they finally got together and I am always open to more Alan and Jeff, they are my favorite couple of the series.
Krist and Singto gave us a BL that was entertaining from start to finish without a script needing to be ground breaking, dark or full of angst. These two actors have always had chemistry, but in this BL you could really feel their friendship and ease with each other. I LOVED this show because it did not need any gimmicks. It was fun from start to finish and the wedding was perfection, so much fun!!! I hope they do not make us wait years for their next project together. I am so glad to see them together again and they really looked like they had a great time being in this series.
This has become a snooze fest. At this point I do not care who wins the competition, the dust story line took way too much time and there are no couples at this point I am invested in. A big budget series does not mean a good script. Maybe they could have saved on NN's ridiculous hair coloring and invested more in the script. Gads, that hair color does nothing for him, it is awful! On a side note, they could have just used a cardboard cutout of Zee and dubbed his voice, his acting is that stiff!
I got killed when I pointed this out when watching Sunset X Vibes. There is no way that I would allow anyone,…
hahaha I got killed when I trashed Bank's outfits on that show. Sunset X Vibes will go down as one of the worst. Yet, I have to admit I have not laughed that hard at a BL in a long time, that dancing sequence had me on the floor, just thinking about it and I am laughing again!!
This may have been answered weeks ago, but I'm just now getting to start this series - how old was Armin supposed…
I believe Armin in the very first episode was in his late 40's and now he is back to being early 20's and doing it all over again. That was my take on his age in the beginning. I also think they did a good job on Pond making his looking older in the first episode.
I still love Alan and at least he is making the show more interesting. I find it hard to believe that they are…
I do feel badly for Jeff. Out of all the characters on this show, Jeff is my favorite, he is consistent and loyal to a fault. Since day one I have not been a fan of Charlie and if he never regains his memory of Pit Babe, that works for me. The Papa/Mama nicknames are gaggable to the nth degree and the actor who plays Charlie mumbles constantly. I say, give Willy a chance Pit Babe.
I still love Alan and at least he is making the show more interesting. I find it hard to believe that they are going to wrap all this up in the next 2 episodes. I've a feeling we are in for a cliffhanger leading to a 3rd and final season.
You said everything I was thinking and saved me from making a post of my own. Thank you. 100% agree.
I have been hated too many times to count on MDL and then they send me a friend request. I'm like, what's happening here. I do not friend anyone. I come here to read the comments, make comments when the mood strikes and find shows I want to watch. Again, thanks for posting what I was thinking. Have a great day.
My only complaint of this show is Kui and Jam, they are super obnoxious and I swear if I was Kui, I'd knock Jam on her ass the minute she hit me the first time. It is not funny watching someone hit someone else all the time. I fast forward them now.
marelio, that NC scenes was not hot. It was boring. There was no passion/heat. It was perfectly staged and choreographed without any real emotion. Also, what was up with that "good boy" comment. Ewww
Honestly I do not know where to begin on how badly this show is turning out. I feel no real connection between the leads, they have no chemistry. I would love to see Net and JJ have more story, along with Jimmy and Ohm. This show has become a yawn fest.
Personally I think Peace will kill his father in the end or Aim will come back from the dead and kill Peace's…
I just finished watching episode 10 and it could be Peace finds a way to eliminate the adopted brothers and Joe finds out that his son actually saved him and he has a redemption arc. I find it implausible this guy can have a redemption arc, but in BL's anything is possible. hahaha
Personally I think Peace will kill his father in the end or Aim will come back from the dead and kill Peace's…
The bodies were burned beyond recognition so they could of been switched before burning. Who knows what is what in this series and it is just my hypothetical guess. All I know, is that Joe needs to go down along with his adopted 2 sons. I will always root for a happy ending.
This is my second time watching this series and I have to say it holds up even better the second time around. It is not your typical fluffy BL and while one of the male leads is toxic while the other is naive and an optimist, this show works and their chemistry is insanely good. I highly recommend this series for anyone that is wanting something more edgy/darker with good acting and a not so typical BL story line. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
