The Pages of a Fairytale

Definitely go for Age Of Youth!
Part of the plot of Age of Youth is how the girls in the house get to know her better and come to accept her. They're harsh at first, but they come to love and care for her. I would say it's worth pushing through a couple more eps just to be sure it's not a drama for you.

It's a play on words. Definitely intentional.
Yep. It's reinforcing for the audience that this is a drama about what it's like working with celebs. Ep 1 had a lot of emphasis on what it's like keeping them out of scandals, so I'd say the title definitely reflects the tone of the story so far.

I enjoyed ep 1, definitely gonna keep watching. It has a very light mood that I don't think the writers will bog down with a bunch of really dramatic plots, which is what I'm looking for, and I'm already into the central romance. Should hopefully be a cute and easy watch.

Disclaimer: I haven't seen this drama, nor do I have an interest in watching it at the moment becausethe story…

I don't get all that excited about Kdramas that much anymore (been finding my groove with Jdramas lately), but I'm super hype for this. It looks like a bit of an old-school feel with some classic rom-com tropes but in a modern interpretation. I'm living for it, lol.

OMG you know what would be so great...If this cast came back to do another lifetime. They said these two were…
This is the first drama I've actually ever fast-forwarded with, and it definitely has helped, lol. As traumatic as it is, the whole abuse-relationship with the one couple is so...I don't know the right word, but I'm so desensitized to it that I don't care about them at all at this point, and I skip all of their scenes. Those parts honestly have little bearing on the overall plot anyway.

"sometimes the only way to watch is to rant!!!" I feel that in my spirit, lol. I'm not a fan of over-the-top, melodramatic, makjang-like dramas, which I had a feeling this drama might end up being, so I went into it with the attitude of 'Just enjoy the ride and don't take anything too seriously.' It's mostly helped, because the more insane bits I just laugh at, but there are some parts that still get me frustrated (or mostly confused because of the terrible editing). Your comment provided just the right amount of spoilers to tell me that I want to keep watching.

This is my favorite comment on this entire site. I've never read a MyDramalist comment that was this helpful, lol.

Related but not, I'd personally really like to see the Kdrama industry try shorter episodes and different numbers of episodes. They don't have to throw out the 16 episodes at an hour and 30 minutes a piece format, but I definitely think the rigid inability to stray from it has hurt some dramas. Adding too much drama, stories spinning their wheels, episodes where nothing of importance happens, are all a common occurrence in Kdrama. If writers weren't stuck having to use the standard format, it might help with some of that. (That and I also finding the first two problems kind of infuriating and would like to deal with them less, lol.)

I think I naturally shy away from dramas with to intense love triangles, I'd rather have a secondary couple. but…
My question is how do you know a drama is going to have an intense love triangle ahead of time? If I could know that upfront, it would honestly be really helpful, lol.

In my opinion, Cheese in the Trap doesn't qualify for SLS. Why? Because to judge SLS you need enough screen time…
I dropped Cheese just before the ML does his disappearing act, and I've always been rather glad I did. How utterly infuriating and frustrating that would have been to watch.

You literally described everything I do xD I don't like every ML I come across but I believe that they'll redeem…
I only come to dislike secondary male leads when they start interfering in the main couple's relationship more than I can put up with. I get really frustrated when a story spends time trying to make me want the SL to get the girl rather then spending time making the ML worthy of her. I'm like 'No. I don't want this. I want you to write in some character growth for the male lead, please. That's all I want.'
