Just want to say thank you for subbing this drama. I'm excited to sit down and watch it!

It's a Kdrama focused on in the industry. Things like this are COMMON AF in the industry. It's not getting weird,…
Considering crazed fans/anti-fans have gone so far as to murder their favorite or most hated celebs IRL, I don't really think it's out of the realm of possibility for her to become his housekeeper for nefarious reasons. And having a lot of money and/or owning a business doesn't mean you operate in life with sound logic or reasoning.

I was really hoping for a Ho Yeong/Shi Deok pairing. My understanding going in was that Ho Yeong and Yoo Sung were kind of the plan, but then Shi Deok showed up, and it seemed like he was going to be end game instead. Now it seems like it's going back toward a Ho Yeon/Yoo Sung pairing, and I'm just confused, lol. Am I the only one who prefers a Ho Yeong/Shi Deok pairing?

Title Okaeri Mone
I had to drop this after 24 eps, and I feel really bad about it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this drama. It's heartfelt and moving and well-acted and well-written, and I have to force myself to keep watching, which isn't fair to me Or the drama. Definitely recommend Okaeri Mone to those who like slice-of-life and stories about finding your purpose and gentle pacing, as it is a very lovely story, and the lead actress' performance is very affecting. Just wasn't for me.

For a long time, I never rewatched dramas. My PTW has always been too long (I'm a PTW hoarder, lol), and I was always hyper-focused on watching something new. I also never felt compelled to watch a drama again, no matter how much I enjoyed it the first time. There were plenty of movies that I loved and would go back to, but there were never any dramas that I loved So Much that I wanted to rewatch them. The idea of rewatching also kind of made me anxious, because it meant I wasn't crossing off dramas on my PTW list, which meant my PTW list wasn't getting any shorter, which ALSO caused me anxiety because looking at that list was overwhelming, lol. (It's still overwhelming, but that's beside the point.) So I just never did it. Then I watched When the Camellia Blooms, and something about that drama just spoke to me on a very deep level, and not even a full year later, I felt compelled to watch it again. I've now watched Camellia three times, and I've rewatched 8 other series as well, some because I loved them the first time and some because I felt they deserved a second chance, and it's been a good experience. I realized I was unfair in my assessment of a couple of dramas, and for the others, I was just reminded of how much I enjoyed them. I still struggle with choosing between getting through my PTW list and rewatching something though, lol.

I always find it so dumb that such normal things can be considered controversies or scandals. It definitely makes me sad for celebrities/entertainers, etc. Can we not just let them live their lives? (This is not aimed at this article or the author. Just a general statement.)

we only like him because he is hot and handsome. other wise he has served no purpose at all. superficial we are.
He's definitely very good-looking, but I also really like his personality. He seems to be a sweet and thoughtful person. I also think the trajectory of his story is that he really doesn't want to be an actor, but he lost his job right when this opportunity was presented to him, so he decided to give it a try and see how it goes. If I'm right, then I'm pretty interested to see where that story might go. (I'm also shipping him with Ho Yeong, although ep 6 is making me nervous for my ship, lol.)

Is it me only who is loving Si Deok a lot.
*raises hand from the back of the room* Me! I like him too!

I binged the first half of this drama last night and loved everything about it. I watched eps 7 and 8 tonight…
Internet, I did not finish this. Spoilers told me everything I needed to know about where the story was going, and all I'll say is that my gut feelings were right.

It's "Ashes" by Stellar.
Shazam didn't help me either. Gave me two different songs, lol.

I'm watching on Viki so the same lyrics as you. It appears that they are using a different song in different places?

It's "Ashes" by Stellar.
I don't think that's the song. I looked it up, and the lyrics aren't the same.

Female friendship is one of my top 3 or 5 favorite story themes, so I love when I find a drama with a really good female friend group. I definitely second Weightlifting Fairy, Age of Youth, Because This is Our First Life, Work Later Drink Now, and Be Melodramatic. Great friend dynamics.

I guess it's safe to say there won't be a season 2 to finish the story. Although putting a season 2 out this year would kind of work perfectly since I believe the time jump in the original is two years, and this version came out 2 years ago. Ce'st la vie, I guess.

I'm an Ahjumma, although I mostly lurk in the background observing, and I'm probably the only person on here who would admit that they are also kind of a Spoiler Alert, lol. I do try to be careful where I talk about spoilers, but I don't really think spoilers are as huge of a deal as people make them out to be.

I binged the first half of this drama last night and loved everything about it. I watched eps 7 and 8 tonight and am now on 9, and I'm not feeling the same as I did last night. I don't know if the drama has lost some of its steam now that we're midway or if it's just taking itself too seriously now, but there's a shift in tone away from the really lighthearted, riffing on tropes and cliches, vibe into something else, and I'm disappointed. I'm going to finish, but I don't think this is going to end as strong as it started. *sad face*
