Was about to start this show but reading this I dont think I will. So tired of this trope. Did you already watch…
She was upset because the entire series she always try to prove to him that she can help him. In life and work. And she did. So many of their success she was the major force behind. They were unstoppable tgt.
she really take pride in that. So when she find out he didn't believe in her enough to tell her she was hurt. It's like 15 minutes plus or so. Then they back to be unstoppable tgt.
He got trust issues, mom stupid and abandon him emotionally, been alone since elementary school age.
At the same agwith Ml, FML was raised to be her parents therapist. Her entire life is worrying about them being depressed, imagine being a little kid terrified that dad will off himself after his friend. She plan her life around them. Struggle to live for herself.
Both of them will heal e/o childhood trauma. He will learn to let her and other in and she will learn to live for herself.
Rare case where noble idiocy breakup would be way better. If they really wanted one, it would make more sense…
His workers have his back because she told them too. She being mean to him not because she believed it's his fault. But she thought if his father is really to blame for her father's friend dead then she believed their relationship could never work out because she has to chose her family like how she did her entire life. So she need to break it off asap. Being mean to him is just to break his spirit. Make him give up. She was wrong but at the time it's hard for her to think straight. But he also KNOWS she is the one who told the worker to be nice to him. And that's why he didn't give up on them.
Why she did it is because since she was an elementary school kids. Her family use her as emotional support rather than going to the therapist.
It might not look like it but she also didn't have it easy growing up. Her family keep go into depression after the incident. He barely talk to people anymore(even old neighbors). Her mom useless. She need to be the family sunshine. Because other than being depressed AF most of the time they love her. She feels like she owe them that just like many Asian child who struggle to take care of their toxic but loving parents.
She entire childhood she baby them And this is her flaws, her character arc. To be brave enough live for her self.
I really like how both leads heal e/o trauma. Hope u give her a chance.
I understand why this feels shocking and disappointing. The amount and the headlines make it sound final. But one…
oh. i could have done worst. no need to get work up on my small account. I only comment on this page. in a sea of million accounts. 1 comment across this universe. lol. interesting.
I feel like in a thriller, you need to write the ending first before anything else. Because all that suspension needs to be paid off most satisfyingly for a thriller to work. This one clearly doesn't. While the first and second acts are roughly 7.5-8. The third act throws a lot of good work out of the window. Such a shame. I was hoping they might get the story right this time. not just depending on the leads' chem. Pavel's acting got way better in this series. Pooh also improved significantly. I just feel like he wasn't there yet in some scenes. The scene with his ghost mother is really good tho.
I'm so tired of this story, when the girl finds that ML father was involved in a accident and broke up. WTF HAS…
She was in shock at her father accident and then understand right away that their relationship could never work out because she has to chose her family. That's why she determined to break it off asap.
Yes her family is kinda toxic. Because both parents keep fall into depression and need their elementary school kid to step up and be their therapist. Because go to real therapist still hold stigma in china and they think they entitled to their "sadness".
The context is that she was raised to be their therapist..their emotional support. And other than being depressed and hate architecture 70% of the time. The other 30% they being a very loving parents.
FmL feel like she owe them to nurse them back to a better mood. That's why the sunshine personality came from. That's why she's so "mature"
She pushing ML away doesn't mean she hate him or think he is wrong. She just think if she has to she need to chosing her parents.
She was wrong.her parents are also wrong. Hope you give her a chance.
I love both lead. I enjoy the drama. They really got a good beginning.
But the disastrous second half of Korean television need to be study at this point. Fr. Has anyone do study research about this? I feel like 30-40% of shows got disastrous second half. If it was just bad I wouldn't be alarmed but it truly feel like they suddenly change the person who wrote it into some elementary school kids.
Hi can someone explain the low rating score. I came over here from Love between lines so i was hoping for something…
Really funny stuff here.
Rating while airing can be inaccurate especially when we only 11 eps in. LBL rating also climbing up after finishing airing. I still haven't vote even tho I'm really enjoying it. Just wait for it to end and see how good it is overall.
Very different vibe. LBL is more romance. Slow burn, calm and mature romance. With revenge plot as a major part…
At the beginning at least. No streaming anytime soon. Fml got novel boyfriend the system refuse her to be the one break it off🤣. He have to break up with her lol. Maybe the streaming hot scenes will come out when you on the road. That's would be perfect!
So i have not fully watched LBL (only bits n pieces of its popular scenes) n wanting to binge watch it during…
Very different vibe. LBL is more romance. Slow burn, calm and mature romance. With revenge plot as a major part for characters development but not overwhelmed the romance part.
But this one is grade A Comedy. It poke fun at 90s-2000s rom com. Simple plot and the characters aren't too complex or required you to studying their face closely when watching. With FML who got no ideas about love, don't really care about the novel and have relatable reactions to being transmigrated to 90s romance novel. Very up beat.
So I think this one is good for travel. You got a lot going on. So a more simple but very entertaining plot +comedy gold moments will be easy to enjoy.
Chen Xing Xu is booked and busy! please tell me if this one is enjoyable or not!! His previous work LBL was so…
Great A Comedy. Poking fun at 90s-2000s romcom with melodrama elements. Flaws but kinds relatable fml ( especially how she reacts to the old school novel world) Not to be taking seriously. Romance part is okay. Up to personal taste From ep1-9 I think comedy wise it's fun to watch.
Episode 24 destroyed my admiration for Fl. She could have asked for time to think and understand the situation.…
Yeah. Besides being his GF. This poor girl is also her parents emotional support. Her father always fall back into depression since that day in the past. Mother is helpless. So she always the one nursing them back to life again and again. That's why that sunshine personality come from. She just prioritize her family first. While asking other people in his life to be kind to him because she can't. Because despite being selfish depressed her parents is good and loving to her. She never think it's his fault or wanna break up but she thinks she owe her parents to do that. But nha she doesn't. It's part of characters development ðŸ˜
The moment he walk into work and people are nice and act like nothing happened. He smiled. It kinda implying he knows. That's why after that his mentality improve and he keep approaching her. Because he knows it will resolve soon.
their comedy is at its A game😂. I find the romance really cheesy with the 1999 type of OST playing in the background (maybe I'm wrong. It just the music sounds old-school). Appreciate them try to make soundtracks era accurate but it in romance moment kinda made me cringe 😅 No hate. Really enjoyable watch. The plot is good so far. No boring eps. Good fun.
confused if I should watch this, shine on me or live between lines. someone who has watched all 3, please advice
This one is slower-paced than the other 2 because it talk about mental health and healing. Visually beautiful. Calm. Slice of life type imo. ML fell first and support her thru healing journey.
Shine on me is an heiress finding her place in the world, finding confidence to be herself, accept her identity, and to love again. It's a lit about college, then workplace relationships. ML & FML support e/o work type. It has melodramatic elements like CEO father, evil stepmother, and sister. But they are not a major part at all. Don't worry.
LBL got melodrama elements. It's the revenge plot. While the story focuses most of it on developing the relationship, the revenge plotline is always there as a major part of the character's development. It's not overpowering at all. Both leads are smart and mature. The game kinda serves as a metaphor for his state of mind. Cold/calm/loneliness/playing mind game&waiting for the right moment to avenge. Both meet while playing a role-playing game. Ignite e/o fighting spirit. Then they find out they kind of a really good team tgt and became friends/partner both in game and irl.
All of them is pretty good. It all come down to personal tastes. Hope you enjoy!
idk if this explains it but here's the novel excerpt https://www.readthedrama.com/novels/speed-and-love/chapters/15"Seeing…
Oh that's make more sense. So it's more like the directing is lost in translation because It wasn't show that she appreciates his thoughtfulness at all, no medium or close up shot to show her thoughts process. more like, hey I really want to promote this Indy condom brand in a very shy way cause she didn't even tell him out loud (gonna be hard to believe if big condom company doing promotion in small shop) Thx btw.
And she did. So many of their success she was the major force behind. They were unstoppable tgt.

Fck the rating. Just watch the first 2ep or 3 (ep 3 funny af lol) if you're not convinced, then thank you....bye!
