Yep. The drama is very humble.its like they feed us what they promised.
The romance is mature. With mature characters who see right thru BS most of the time.
They were such an endearing team FML always catch up to him and help him even when he never said it out loud.
Both got there broken dreams and heal each other.

The revenge plot is melodrama and kind of where it is going but they play it out classy enough to not over powering the warm heart romance they got going on.

I would say it do better for the same genre that came out the same time that's why it got high ratings. We were starve for something to not f up half way to the end😂.
It can't be Oscar type award winning, realistic drama
but it shows up be what it said it will be for us at the very right time. The rating my go down. Idc.

Btw I believed clearing his father name is the plot.
Everything is around it.
The whole series build up to get his father justice and get fml father closure for his dead friend.
The game world got build because he couldn't let got of the day his dad died and want revenge and get his name back

It's a love story so yeah focus on the romance.
The plot is in the suspense of how ML will take revenge and he was like a mastermind standing on a high tower ( literally ) planing, scheming slowly to get there.
While FML is also involved in his past and their romance will face challenge.
I feel like it's not rush or too slow. Just calm.
And that's the vibe.
is it out of this world chess game? No but for a romance drama it's still lit.
Catching details of how he clocking ppl for me that's fun to watch.
The characters design for both leads is really good and how the plot using "reuse " ideas but execute it better.
