Mian Bei mei nan is Wong Jing's pseudonym as the author of the novel, they are the same person
Is this a known fact for year or he just reveal it. I use to search about the author( google translate š so no I'm not 100% sure maybe it's all my fault š¤£) and not once it come up that the author is a director/screenwriter that been working for ages.
Original creator/author is Amy Cheung (Zhang Xiao Xian) å¼ å°åØ“.Yes, the Screenwriter is Huang Lei (Who also…
Yeah. I wrote that wrong I understand it was adaptation. I mean, sometimes there are more than 1 screenwriter. The age difference is just wild lol. I hope he enjoy the novel he adapted from.
Have you watched My Fated Boy? I rewatch it almost every year. That should've been his breakout role. Can't believe…
jaw drop***. He was that BOY?????!!!! holu moly the hair changes everything. and he looked so young and high schoolish with the hair back then. tbh I almost dropped seeing ML looks on that one, but his acting pulled through.
The screenplay written by 54 yrs old man. I'm really surprised. it only list him as the writer on the series page too. (I mean the only screenwriter. sometime it's more than 1) it's on his page: https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E9%BB%84%E7%A3%8A/6617 I don't understand Chinese; just Google Translate. If anyone got more info, that would be interesting.
I mean, I respect his works. a veteran actor, director, screenwriter, and many other things, but on modern rom-com....i'm not gonna expect much.
which it is going to be a nice surprise if a 54 y/o man can really romcom me.
feel like this is gonna be wild ride for sure haha
CXX did an amazing job in LBL so i am praying for this šš PLS DONT MESS UP LIKE LOVE OF THE TURQUOISE LAND…
It's a whole different team of director/writer/producerš CXX is just an actor he can't control this kind of thing. But what he can control is look hella good in all of themš„š¤£
im confused. im on episode 2. if Xiao Zhi Yu is just always playing the same character, the general, wouldnt he…
He's an NPC. Those who change character are the player who paid to play the game.
The game company created 2-5 storyline with the same set of cast which includes NPCs and players. Different day different storyline but the same characters. For the Player to got the same set of characters to chose from(usually random chose for you) I think it's economically logic. Because they don't have to create too many type of costume and help the NPC remember character the player is playing.
When you play the game both NPCs and players will be given booklet to know the story of the day. If they read it and remember all the characters they would know what to do.
Dai Xu is really charismatic. From my experience, he is always a scene stealer.I love him in most of his works. So…
Sorry. Eng is not my first language. what I mean is he on his redemption arc. Not yet redeem. Still feel that if they switched to other actor ppl maybe...people would feel different. Idk. And then there always people who got sympathy kink, I could change him kinkš¤£.
I want to talk about the hospital scene. Not the confrontation but the aftermath. She had the office act normal…
I cry when he walk in the workplace and that happen. and right after he smiled because he also know its her. T^T my mature queen and my smart AF king.
and yessss there are sooo many cinematography storytelling that I think I need to rewatch to get it all in. line every details. the Pei house is also surrounded by big windows. literally glass house crumbling down. the moment PZ slanders XZY's father in front of the house when they fight is priceless. he literally threw stones, exposing XZY's father's identity. to crumbling down his own house.
People need to stop looking excuse for Pei Zhen.No one is born evil.In real life when people do bad things they'll…
Dai Xu is really charismatic. From my experience, he is always a scene stealer. I love him in most of his works. So no surprise he gathers some heart again this time. BUT this time I also think the character is really dry. he was set to be very naive and stupid. like the director didn't fuck him over at all; they only give him this little personality. Ceo's son with a shitty father. stupid and naive because he knows his father is shady but scare to scheme for a plan B.
in his worst moment. When he shows up at her house and stuff, it's because he's realizing that his empire, his company, the only thing he takes pride in over ML is made of glass and never belonged to him. and on top of that he such a fool who never got plan B in the bag. He naively thinks he still has a shot with her. So he acts out, brokenheartedly. When it didn't succeed, he blamed it all on ML. very naively and stupidly put his father's crime to light indirectly.
BUT because it's Dai Xu. He is very charismatic, and it was true that his character isn't far gone. just heartbroken. People see potential in something much more. At the end he kind of redeems himself by acknowledging his and his father's crimes. * well not redeem but on his redemption arc lol
I've been in the comment section and have never been a simp for this character lol because, like I said, there's nothinggg. But Dai Xu? He's got something yummy about his acting. This role is one of the driest, though. lol. You might not dig him. but he didn't do this the first time. I bet every MLs scared to get him as SML. CXX, Xiao Zhi Yu is my MVP. and his hands still choke me rn but I understand ppl who simp DX.
I'm sat. He proved to be a person who cares deeply about his work. They are all well-rounded( or try to be); the plot didn't find an easy way out but was planned carefully from the start. It's so satisfying that he didn't treat us like fools. and cares about his work.
because lots of directors/screenwriters do that. they treat it like a job. and I understand. I DO. I've been there. sometime the producers and the EPs and a lot of bosses up there have really loud voices; sometimes they don't care about the art, only the numbers, and you have to work much harder to keep your art alive ( if you want to)
the cherry on top is the cinematographic storytelling. This is a web/TV series; he didn't have to work this hard. But believe me when so many frames in LBL have meaning.
the color, the dress, the building, and the room. He put his heart and soul into it. Now i'm going to rewatch a bunch of his work because I realize because of my prejudice I miss out on a lot of beautiful details in his works. PS: I also watch lot of them DUB because ...im an overworked adult. and watch while partly watching/listening and working. to my defense, not all of them are highly detailed.

Tbh if my mother does the same thing Iād still forgive her like ML did. She is weak&stupid but at the end of the day she love him and never wants to harm him. And from what he remember his father. His father would want him to forgive her too. But if Iām the mother. I would never forgive myself so easily. Finding out I believe the person who kill my husband . Hate him then fucking my husband murderer for 2 decades. I would seriously shape my head and became a nun for life. Well if she isnāt living well ML will be sad too. Let it go and move on is the right call.
