good watch. the ending is not bad too. like these days good ending that compliment the story are freaking hard to find. so bonus point for not f up.
the pacing is good. the family schemes are kinda juicy but pretty PG, not dog blood type like The double ETC.
like if you into historical chinese family drama ,fighting over the succession, girls scheme against e/o and local officials bake off then you in for a tea😉
i hope they take it there and have a GOOD female villain tho. just to make a piont both men and women can also be unredeemable. this series got too many unredeemable men and when its women they scared or too bias to go there. this is the only disappointment i feel so far.

Then she turns around and tries to force RSB to marry YBL??? Everything she said is me me me ME! thinking of her dead husband?? you marry him urself! Oh hell nha Even Hell didn't wanna take her in, bet that's the only reason she's still living.
It's messy family drama, twist and turn, fight between siblings and houses then 10-20% politic drama. Long but well round gray characters and good world building. if you into that you'll like it

And even when I try to see it as a standalone work, it's still forgettable for me. It's okay in the first part, but also a struggle because KDJ's personality keeps switching up every 3 minutes. Then, in the middle, it gets boring and awkward. I like the backstory, but I also think he let the trauma be his personality...and they seem to go around in circles The third part is really messy wdym the gut think he can fight in the main character's place and with no preparation? he knows about that since day 1, but he has never done anything to prepare for this final showdown? Oh, he can cause he is the main character lol the director just turned KDJ into YJH
If you wanna impress ppl who are into fantasy, then this is not it. I don't believe the reader hates ruining the movie. There are a lot of movies out there that do well even when novel readers hate them. This movie is just too predictable. kinda like the cast, what a waste.

Just finished my 3rd rewatch and it get better everytime, it's toxic good. The acting....holyshit the acting is GOOD. I still got goosebumps after many rewatch. The characters arcs are beautiful to watch. I hate Ming. I love Ming, he's basically a bratty brother that my parents spoil rotten but deep down he's not a bad person and his bratty personality is kinda cute sometime. No wonder Joe down bad for him. Joe like cute younger boy haha that's why he got a crush on Sol I love Jeo to the moon and back. The orphan kid who keep his head down and got taken advantage of most of his life but still manage to see the good in everything. Learn to stand up for himself. Take control of his life and his man.
minus the SML part lol. I did watch interview where he said he only got his call back ,like, days before shooting. So it seems like they really can't find the right people for the role. But they still put the poor boy thru hell😂 his song is soooooo treacherous to listen. It's not just his voice its the song they wrote for him🫠
he taller than 190. 195 ish. but he stop measure because 190 is basically unicorn in Thailand. he said he didn't want to scare off people who want to book him. like standing next to Tee, 188cm, he look almost 7 cm or more taller.
This series really gives u an overview of real-life uni students in Thailand. very calm. slice of life type. which can feel boring at first. So many things are going on without a clear goal in sight. It takes me months just to get past Ep5.
one of the best. Maybe it's also because Doomandee kinda disappointed me over the years. Like, they got all these amazing actors and actresses. But the script is kinda always 4-7/10. or feel like they give up half way or sth But this time it's an easy 9.5 storywise. (It's really, really good. I just leave 0.5 for a script that can throw me to the moon and back stuff especially for the thriller genre. I have a bad habit of expecting to be wowed.) My satisfaction factor is 10 tho. LOVE
