this one is sooo f ing good I pray to heaven it stays good to the end because I would LOVE LOVE to put this drama UP THERE.

I truly don't understand how this fucking good-looking and hardworking man with good acting skills has still not made it big these past years. I guess Chinese industry is hard to break into, especially if you don't have a big backer or something.
A lot of actors didn't make it till they passed 30, though, so I wish him the best!!!.

The fml is obviously gonna suck at business. She basically an engineer turn businessman.
She also stubborn like many smart people. They think their work could proof everything.
Is she smart with her program yes but she gonna be super stupid in business games and a very naive one with black/white mentality.
She grown up loved and her life is smooth sailing so far. Even in the beginning her ex boyfriend SAID she "improve" at hiding her emotions Infront of her old boss.
I don't think we should expect fml to be mature. She was a nerd and a workaholic who only work 1 place in her life after graduation.
These type of business people exist and most of them failed without some helping hands.

While ML is business savvy who think of everything as business transection. Nothing is black/white. His family is not warm and cozy. He fight for succession with his cousin. Only got 1 close friend that ALSO his employee.
He doesn't understand how to treat his love ones because basically he never got one. He even treat his grandfather more like his employer. His grandfather also struggle to find a middle ground between being a grandfather and a boss.

I like how it holds this setting into the climax of the plot where Fml find out ML been helping her all this time.
And ML find out how he deal with her is dead wrong.
Then their view of love also clashes. He doesn't believe in love because he knows people changes. He was factual about everything.
She want feeling. Any woman would blackout if they heard their man said that for the first time.

Then...they parted
After
She then come to terms that she was too naive. Too stubborn. And what he said come from a factual perspective.
She learn to accept her real value as an engineer and learn to be at better business.
He also learn to be vulnerable. Learn to accept some of his emotions. Learn to open up to her emotionally.

they got lot of flaws in the drama but I feel like they did pretty good on the main relationship.

This drama is a hot mess but the plot is kinda good you just need to understand the characters setting so you will see the growth.

They know where her house is. Even when she said they got hunters hiding close by I feel like if they sent all of them the same time the gonna get her back.
Fml can't barely handle 2 at the same time. She almost got killed that one time at the harbor.

I can't with him anymore. And everything single thing he did after that f thing up more and more.
I feel like he became a plot device for the director& writer. Because they wanna drag thing out.
I enjoyed it. The beginning is great.
the art direction is great. Dilraba is great.
Fight scenes looks real not superhuman like some similar series that set in modern times.
The hunter team kinda weak and unorganized because they never seen real threat for decades so I give them a lot of benefits of the doubt. But sml as a leader??? He the reason they seem so stupid&weak compare to the bad guy.
Like they created cool complex characters for the villains but wrote flat characters for the hunters.
Like some of them are nice&cool but not 1 got the charisma& smart enough to pull off being a leader. SML arc is weak af. He do nothing but blindsided his people.
I like the beginning which is why the plot fall apart at the very end kinda painful to watch.

I kinda like how the writer didn't shy away from showing us real devoted fans behaviors(not all like this but a lot are).
Leave some room for us to analyze or criticize them.
I know a few and yes they did kiss photos, yes they cry when their idol got gf/bf, yes some of them are working age or older.
Sometime they could be toxic to the point of anti fan or sasaeng. The obsessiveness is basically why I left fandoms.
But I do remember the good ones too. The supportive and positive one that sometimes look at the idol as potential romantic partner.
Not a perfectly white/black community.
Looking back most of them, like fml must feel lost at some point and the fandoms give them hope or purpose.

I just...don't see how the romance could work without coming off as cringe fangirls fantasy tho. Especially when it comes this fast😂. Like 4 eps in and he locked in on her already puppy boi.

He just took cowardice to ask for her forgiveness openly. So she misunderstand he was letting her down slowly.
Then he again getting play by YR that she went study abroad without telling him so he got bit hurt but still waiting for 6 mouths
Then BAM he super hurt when she show up with ML before the wedding.
He really suck at personal relationship lol he got play like a violin😂
Am I lost??? In ep12 it truly feel like his romance with YR is real the whole time. Which a good plot twist for me because they make it seem like YR is lying to everyone.
