He is supposed to have issues identifying himself, like most of the characters in the show. Try to be normal and do the right thing when you feel insecure af. He was holding himself back throughout the series. So I thought he was doing okay.
He does have range in acting in different types of roles. He's been boys next door, aggressive type, a typical ML with some moral conflict, and a low-functioning autistic boy.
Not saying he's really good with all of them cause yeah I understand ppl have different standards, but he's doing alright so far. My point is this role doesn't seem to be as hard as other roles. So I think it's the director's choice.
