If the ML is not the real GJ, then he is not the one who wrote the love letter. ML is only leveraging on the letter for his own agenda. Or maybe real GJ is not the one who wrote the letter.

The way he manages his team and their tasks and how he sneaks his way on the good side of the FL... He is a team leader of an investigation team. But for me they are acting on the order of someone or some authority.

The money he spends does not belong to him. It is part of the budget of the operation. I don't think he has any connection with the company since he doesn't seem to know it or its personnel. He just noticed someone was following him but he did not know that person was part of the company.

I find him cunning, on the alert, sneaky and manipulative without shame like it is just part of his job. Recently he is more emotionally involved but it does not make him loose focus on what he has to do. His speech about the letter and his youth is the proof of his manipulation. It's not his letter (so far).

What I understand is that someone recommended him to her and she did not meet him since their school days. She said herself she is not very close to him. So she probably does not suspect the truth about him.

They are clearly after the money but is it for their own profit? Unlikely because they receive orders froms a specific company...

When her father and mother in-law arrived and said they would live with her to obtain the financial advantage they lost with the death of their son I was like.. What kind of in-laws do that? Why she has to accept this saying nothing about what their son did?

I do not throw stones at her for saying nothing. This is what a good daughter in law is supposed to do.

I don't think she is passive or stupid. She has to deal with the "social order" and to behave. She is not weak. Proof is how she told her "friend" to leave.

Funny thing is the ML cut his flesh and the coat himself to move her and sneak his way on her good side. And she decided to pay 30 000 Yuan to buy him the same coat. Poor her. When she will know the truth...

She is terrible slandering people when she knows nothing about nada.

I almost started to hate the ML and his manipulative ways but the new light put on his doings kind of explain. So now I am quite intrigued about about. And in particular why this identity?

I like the actress in the Blessed girl and The justice. She is pretty convincing here as well. I like her character and the BFF too. I hope these two keep supporting each other till the end.

We know who the real Gao Jun is. It is unlikely they are brothers or it would complicate the things even more.

Husband lost his pouch with his keys this is how the bad guys managed to open his office and drawer and take the notebook. I am pretty sure it is not the husband. He would have found what he wanted if it was him.

The drama is "Little women" where one key character dies and reappears. I think the husband is not important enough to reappear. He is not pivotal to the story. But who knows. The story is very complicated.

I would agree with that. His Mission Impossible team absolutely do not use methods of gangs and thugs even if it is not very nice to manipulate a civilian. Maybe he is from some Finance division of th e police...

Agree he is despicable. Nothing justifies what he did.

Ep12 and 13 were enoyable. Good that the story is developping faster. The characters' situation become clearer but the story is more intricate. Ep13 had some good fun moment. As for the FL in- laws and friends. OMG. You have friends like that you don't need enemies anymore.

A bit convoluted but more acceptable than the FL falling for the former fatty guy who liked her while she only liked her future husband.

This kind of twist happened in a recent kdrama so I would not be shocked if it happens here. The difficulty is that they would need to explain how he managed to pass the body which was recovered on the site of the accident as his.

So far I believe he is dead but who knows?

For now, I will be happy if the drama ends with her leaving the place with the 40 millions.

Ep 8 and 9 were not so enjoyable because of draggy moments. What's the point of all this long hide and seek stunt with cars or one character telling to another character what we have already seen. Also Lawyer Gao looks more and more like a manipulative freak. FL and her female friend are the only ones to root for.

Agree it is slow paced but I guess this is the genre it wants to be. Slow pace means time to understand the present emotion and the nostalgia of the past.

He is charimatic but he also has a weirdo side... I like the chemistry between them so far. He looks skilled but also in a quest. She looks sad but not so stupid.
