The scandal around Snowdrop was a fake one born from people who alledged the drama was like this or like that…
Africa is a continent and the ML went to Africa the african continent and the FL called to Africa because the phone she called was physically located in Africa. Your brain cannot understand this?
The scandal around Snowdrop was a fake one born from people who alledged the drama was like this or like that…
It is fake. There is no stereotype about Africa and no racism in this drama. If the male lead was a black american with a US or Swedish passport, you would have said nothing. You just became crazy because of the color of skin of the ML. In fact you are the racist ones. You react and accuse because of the color of skin of the character who does nothing wrong in the drama. He just does what hundreds and thousands of foreigners white, yellow, green or grey do when they go to Africa to help and then go back to their home.
The issues were many. Africa? He volunteered in Africa? They couldn't even specify the country because they weren't…
Africa is one huge hunk of poverty. Africa is the poorest continent in the world. Africa is th eocntinent with the most people with no access to clean water. These are facts.
The audio used *lion king-like audio* but the lion king is not Africa. It is an animated movie with animals as characters located fictionally in Africa. There is nothing offensive in it. It is to ring the bell Africa by association of ideas. There is nothing to denigrate Africa or Africans.
So the drama showed one of the main leads volunteering in Africa. They dug wells, provided stuff and made friends…
Thanks for your message.
The truth is that these people are the real racists. They were triggered because the ML was an asian. If the character was Denzel Washington or Serena Williams or Idris Elba, they would not have said anything for the same behavior of the character. They were trigerred by the color of skin of the ML character. That pissed them off because it sent them back to the old colonial era and they thought it would be cool to accuse the drama of promoting the colonial era of the white people when there is no white people in this drama.
So you see, these poor people are the ones who focused on the color of skin of people and reacted according to it. They are the racist ones Like you said, it was just a random guy who went to help in Africa and went back home. Just like hundreds of people are doing it nowadays in Africa without any problem or accusation of racism.
I hope this drama wiill keep going on they they leave it and this comment sections but looks like they have found a new angle of attack: sexual harrassment.
The man is forcibly holding the woman in the toilet. This is not normal behavior. He would have lowered his pants…
It is your own imagination. She ran in the toilet and he chased after her because she wronged him. He said he would show her he has no physical problem but there is nothing to tell he would have done it in the end. But you want to force that idea in the head of people so you can attack the drama using a new allegation. Not something that happened. That's lame.
Now this comments section reminds me of snowdrop's comment section
The scandal around Snowdrop was a fake one born from people who alledged the drama was like this or like that when they knew nothing about it. In the end, they had to swallow back their accusations and the drama went to the end and was enjoyable to watch. I rated it 10/10.
Here it is the same thing. There is no scandal at all. Just a few people taking a fake outrage stance.
Okay, I can see the problem with this whole Affrica thing, but after that we have this toilet scene?! So awesome…
You mean the scene where he tries to unzip his pants and show his little brother to her? I think it is because she made people think he has physical issues with his litlle brother so he wants to show her he has no problems. That's kind of stupid but I think it is more funny than scary. It was a threat only and he would not have been to the end of it because it is quite shameful.
I am just saying the place of birth gives no legitimacy as legitimacy is not related to place of birth but many concepts like law but also morals, knowledge, good reason, lineage...
To say that people africans have legitimacy to talk about Africa and others have no legitimacy to talk about it is a stupidity and racism as it promote a hierarchy based on the origin of people.
Plus it is a dumb way of thinking because it would mean only people from a place can talk about that place. That's plain idiocy.
If you do not have what it needs to undertsant that, it is not my fault.
Do you think a kid from Ouagadougou who never went to school and never traveled has more legitimacy to talk about Mozambic than a white businessman who was born in London or Helsinki and did business there for 15 years?
Do you think being born in Lagos but moving to Europe after 10 years you have legitimacy or not to talk about Africa because you were born there?
Are you racist? Because you sound like being African gives you a legitimity or privileges or more knowledge or awareness... Making a hierarchy between people regarding knowledge or awareness based only on their origin, that's very racist you know?
That's not true. There is nothing rude and no generalizations nor stereotypes in this drama. This drama never…
I think you should have a consistent level of knowledge before you lecture others like you were lecturing me. It is obvious that you don't know much since you are not even aware of the notion of liberty of speech and the right to have an opinion about Africa, Cuba, Alaska, whatever and to express it. I assumed you were young because most adult know this simple notion.
