I think you are too young to give advices to people. When you grow older, you will know that it is not because you live in a place that you know that place better than others. Also it gives you no right to decide how your place should be portrayed by others. It is part of the liberty of opinion and how you have right express it.
I did not preach anything. I just stated a reality of Africa and I said there is nothing racist to use that reality in a fiction. The ones who have a problem are the ones telling others how they should do things and how they should portray or present Africa. This drama is not here to make a balanced documentary about Africa. It is here just to use one reality of Africa to tell a fictional story.
That's not true. There is nothing rude and no generalizations nor stereotypes in this drama. This drama never…
Because these animals and the place they are presented in is not Africa? That's not a sterotype. That's Africa. Why? Because Africa is the only place in the world where there are Lions and Zebras together. No other place in the world has lions and zebras living in a same wildlife place. Are you sure to know your continent?
And they say Africa because it is the african continent. Is it not?
You are the one prejudiced towards the intelligence of people. Most viewers don't think that what they see on a screen is inevitably and fully the reality of something.
The drama did not mention any country of Africa. It just said Africa so your country could not have been misrepresented. And maybe you should consider that someone even an unlikely person can tell you some things you do not know because no one knows everything.
Again I never told you to feel like this or like that. I just stated facts about Africa and that one of this fact is used as a background in a fictional story. That's it.
Some of y'all are actually sick. Although it was not racist, it was VERY rude generalizations and stereotypes…
That's not true. There is nothing rude and no generalizations nor stereotypes in this drama. This drama never said : "See, this is all what Africa is". The drama just put a guy in one place of Africa to do one thing and come back home. Just like in real life, Many foreigners go to one place in Africa drill wells and go back home. There are tons of video on Youtube of people doing it. Why do you not go tell them they are racists and promoting generalizations and stereotypes about Africa. You don't because it is not true.
A drama is a fiction. It does not have to portray Africa or other third world countries or any country or continent in the world in a balanced way. They have the right to handpick one reality of these countries or continent and use it in their fictional story. Viewers are smarter than what you think. They know it is a fiction and that the reality it is based on is more complex. This works for Africa and also other places and for South Korean. All what is showed about South Korea in korean dramas is not the reality of South Korea.
At fist they wanted the ML in one reality of Africa: Go to a big city, build a nightclub and party 24/7 and eat…
There is nothing wrong in this drama regarding Africa. What it describes about Africa exists in Africa. You can state your opinion. And so do I. Now you said you stopped watching this drama. Maybe you are the one who should save his energy.
If you are in a crusade against the white people, it is not my concern. I just stated that Africa as a continent is plagued by issues on access to clean water and it is helped by plenty of international organizations to dig wells. This is a reality. The drama just uses this reality as a background in its fictional story.
This is one of these organization. They are based in the USA. You can contact them so they will explain to you. There is no racism in all this. It is just people helping people.
Is there a love triangle?I feel like it's not needed
I don't think there will be one but I wish there is one. Because the ML is too bland and so far he is just like a kid trying to pester the girl he likes. In this situation only a love triangle can spice up things. Because I don't see them just bickering like that for 16 episodes.
You registered today just to insult us kdrama fans like we cannot see what koreans do wrong? You are the wrong…
Africa is the poorest continent on earth and Africa is the continent on earth with the biggest issue regarding access to clean water. This is not me trying to portray Africa as a suffering continent. It is the truth of a suffering continent and suffering more than any other continent.
Stop denying the truth and go help Africa like the ML is doing in this drama. One helping hand on site is better that a useless mouth in the anonymity of the internet.

Yesh go do some Google so you can see hundreds and thousands of foreigners who are drilling wells in Africa. Go sue them to court for racism making Africans look bad by parading in Africa with their foreign face.

"Africa is still the poorest continent on earth and the continent on earth with the biggest issue with access to clean water even nowadays"
What in this you do not understand or you think it is false statement?
These are realities of Africa and using them as a background of a fictional story is nothing wrong or racist. It is what is happening in Africa. Are these people pissed off because the truth of Africa is shown in this drama? Yes in Africa there are foreign people drilling wells for needy people to give them clean water.
If they are not happy with it, then they better go change the truth of Africa by helping on site instead of trying to hide it using lies here.

Sadly for you Africa is still the poorest continent on earth and the continent on earth with the biggest issue with access to clean water even nowadays. So you wanna use your outraged stance to deny it but no, it is the truth. And to use this truth and this reality in Africa as a background of a fictional story in drama is nothing wrong.
At fist they wanted the ML in one reality of Africa: Go to a big city, build a nightclub and party 24/7 and eat…
There is no problem to use a reality of Africa as a background for a fictional story. You are just taking a fake outraged stance.
Wanna help Africa's image? Go fight poverty or lacking of clean water in Africa. Africa is the poorest continent of the world and the continent with the worst situation in term of lack of clean water in the world.

Nope. I said portraying people in Africa getting international help to dig wells is not a stereotype. It is a reality. Tens of thousands of wells are drilled in Africa and a large part of them are drilled with the help of foreign funding and foreign people. There is no stereotype or racism in this. It is just a depiction of a reality.
I did not preach anything. I just stated a reality of Africa and I said there is nothing racist to use that reality in a fiction. Where in my comment I said that? I did not. You are just putting words in my mouth to criticize these words. What a joke.
