Yuan Zhi's character development seems to take a new level now that he is in Shanghai. I really regret this arc of narration to make Kang Ning marry an older guy for him to acquire a status and now her husband is just a rebel and they are shielded by the Germans. Weird that Yuan Zhi doesn't admit she is married now. This development was really poor and prejudiciable to Kang Ning's character and to their romance. But ok, I will keep watching as the new girl is intriguing and many changes are likely to happen.

A few things annoyed me already but this was the straw that broke the camel's back. No way I can see Kang Ning and Yuan Zhi in an innocent love now. She is a married woman. If they go down this road, they'd better make her have kids with her husband and Yuan Zhi marries the new girl who is quite bold and fun. They have good a chemistry together.

I really liked it until the last episode and this stupid shitty ending which just took people for stupid and viewers agree as between ep 9 and ep10 the overall rating fell from 8.1 to 7.7. Ep21, OMG, the writers are just mocking us, viewers. Like a guy who marries a wife will not bed with her the day of the wedding, the next one or some days, weeks after?
