I knew he would be catching her by the wrist. The best things happen when he does that and his funny shenanigans. These two need to be attached together even if they don't want it .

I have not checked the ending of the original story but I hope this drama will have a good ending. I hope for a happy ending but I will not mind an open ending or a logical ending. Some stories are better with a not happy ending. If this one is one of them then ok...
I have just watched one ep but I am glad I have found this drama. It looks a good melodrama. It will change from the men women turning into dogs, time travelers and other demons and fairies I am watching... I just hope it is a happy ending.
Just finished ep 5 and I do not understand the rating. It is good so far.
I think there is a lot more of comedy in this version compared to the original one. And I liked the little changes they made to make it look plausible like the woman in the hotel (first blind date) being also recruited by the SLF or the ball being a dog's ball and not baseball ball. Also the way ML discover the truth is cartoonesque and funny.
My complains would be that ML is too robotic and lacks charisma. Also second lead couple is fun but the chemistry is not so good.

Nana looks more like a modern beautiful woman when KYJ is like the cute timeless girl. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like both of them as actresses but as characters, I like Nana's character better... so far.

I agree kdrama have changed. From simple plotlines and creation of basic emotions to put onelself in the characters'shoes... things have become overly complicated and intricated. It is like the freshness of the original kdrama has disappeared. But like you said the audience has changed too and people want more complex storylines even if the risk is it becomes convoluted.
I think this drama suffers from that symdrome. It has too many things going on and its not easy to go from a funny scene to a romantic one and murder one within minutes.

Visually and fashion wise, My Demon's main couple looks better. Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung are gorgeous together. But characters wise, I like this lead couple better. In My Demon he is a demon who looks down on humans and she is a damzel in distress. I like when he grabs her wrist and sends the door or the airbag into the face of idiots. But I am more curious about this ML and FL, how they are both cursed and how they will need to solve their own situation.
I don't think he is the main villain. He is too stupid for that. He is probably just a drug addict.
They are doing business together. So maybe yes. Maybe he did some bad operations and had to betray her. We know the bad guy is a male but maybe it is not the one we think about first.
