Ep1 is such a mixture of many genres: fantasy, historical, thriller, comedy, romance... it is a little bit messy with some infos dropping without enough context. But the two leads look good together and their weird encounter (the second one) is still cute.
I hate myself for it, but I can't help it - Dorlina and Francheska probably require more investment.😜😜😜
I was curious if they were going to keep the scene because the main actress looks quite flat-chested compared to Kim Se Jeong but ok it was still funny the way she said it.
I liked the korean original version. After two eps this one is not bad either. A lot of situations are the same but the way to create emotion or laughter are not the same. The four main leads have different personalities but ok it is expected. I would even say it is for the better.
Biggest change is they got rid of the angsty conflictual things and they are all out with the humor and jokes around the FL and the ML. I have to say it is quite fun to watch.
Finally completed the drama. I liked first part more than this one but it was ok.
The whole Gil Chae's husband thing was annoying. The lead couple became more endearing after the husband got removed from of the picture. And the fact that all the tragedy is because of a stupid lunatic king did not help. I would not have mind a more tragic ending. It would have been more in line with the overall tone of the drama. Also Nam Yeon Jun did nothing to deserve such a good ending.
I am also enjoying both dramas for their quality (and some flaws). I find this one a little more consistent though. But no need to start a war like one of these two drama must win the vote of the viewers and any means to undermine the other one is acceptable...
The two first eps are very fun and entertaining. It is the usual time travel trope but the comedy is good. The story is consistent and interesting with most characters bringing something to the plot even the ones who are a little bit crazy. A good start.
To me, the interplay between ML and FL is a litlle bit crazy but it is fine. The problem I sense is the many other characters make things messy and a little bit erratic...

Agree the chemisty between the two leads is stellar and the fun between them is really good. But there are also flaws too... Especially the secondary characters... So far they are shallow and appear in inconsistent scenes. They are like a patchwork with no coherent drive.
