Plot looks fun but please no sanctimonious ending please.

Even if U like Deng Lun I have not watched Ashes of love as Chinese fantasy dramas are not my cup of tea. I am shocked by this info. Chinese drama really do not see marriage as a red line.

I have to disagree with you. Loveless marriage is still marriage. It is a sacred institution morally and a legal framework you need to respect. If people involved have no love for each other they can divorce then start a new. I have seen marriage which started without love but to openly date or be pursued by a man when you are married woman sorry that's pretty lame and the sign that this woman a little moral values. I really don't understand this kind of plot. I guess I will have to see how they explain that. Maybe for some people marriage is really not a big deal.

It's like they don't really see marriage as a red line. Like marriage is just a practical consideration. I still remember the main girl in the Legends marrying to obtain a magic pill and she doesn't hide she likes another guy to her husband then asks for divorce like she would ask to be passed the salt. More generally I think love triangles in Chinese dramas are weird. It tends to look like cheating as the girl would keep all her options open for a long time. I guess this is their way to conceive courting.

I am still at ep 6 waiting for sub. I will wait patiently and try to accustom myself to the idea that they will be reunited and he will be chasing after his ex sister in law. I get that he sacrifices his own feelings for the sake of his brother but chasing his ex sister in law...

Why you lure a girl to marry your handicapped brother? If she does she is your sister so why you chase her? Plot sounds dumb and a basis for lots of torture and slapping. I'll give it a try just for the Deng Lun and Li Yi Tong pairing. I want to see Deng Lun in dramatic role.

I hate this kind of plot. If your woman married another man just let go and move on.

I knew from the trailers that this was going to be some silly drama. I think JCW is better in action dramas. He took a huge challenge for his come back from the army. So far it's not great. The girl look a bit more convincing but JCW looks like JCW. I hope it will improve.

Specially if he starts to have feelings for her...

So far it's very good. The main guy as a woman looks totally cute.
