Lol, EXACTLY. I don't mind relationships being happy go lucky but I prefer to have some kind of drama mixed in as well lol. Not saying I want it super messy but I would like to see some roadblocks after all. I mean which relationship doesn't have those and plus its exciting to see lol. But I also wouldn't want the misunderstanding to last for episodes and episodes - that would also just be too much. Thats why I am okay with how OOL is doing it because they have the misunderstandings but it gets resolved within 1 to 3 episodes. Never more than that.

Yea I am okay with mild issues though - and plus does feel a bit realistic u know lol. I mean how many times can the typical "FL loses her memories" or "ML's multimillion dollar company is going for a takeover" or something along those lines. Mind you I dont mind those plot points but NOT all the time also lol. The millionaire one is probably like the more overused one of them all to be honest.

I am surprised SanSan doesn't bother u that much lol. She is like that nagging thorn in my side that I just wished I could get rid of. I know she isn't malicious but she just is so annoying and LOUD. It's funny because I looked through her works & realized I watched another one of her dramas (I did drop it) & realized she was also the reason I dropped that drama. She played an annoying character that was in love with the ML and I just didnt like her lol.

Hahah yea most of them did disappear. But, to be honest, I am glad for that because I dont want them coming back & causing trouble. I knwo some dramas I have watched the second leads will leave but than come back later. SO, really hopign that does not happen.

I feel that is asking for a lot lol. I doubt that will happen - they go through a lot of censorship. I think the best that happens is it will take maybe 6 to 8 months after filming before it airs. And I think that only happens with modern dramas. I just wished they at least gave proper release dates for their dramas. Like tell people a month in advance or something.

They were lovey dovey in the musical room. But dont forget when they were having dinner - Gu Wei was quite as a mouse because they were kind of having a conversation amongst themselves which he couldn't say anything about. So, he was just alone and uncomfortable about the whole thing. And than the guy decides to also spring up how he is still gonan go after LZX.

I mean as great as a person can be no one is gonna be cool with that. And I would have agreed that he deserves a call - which LZX did do - but GW doesnt deserve to call him. I mean the guy basically said fighting words to Gu Wei - even he knew that he wasn't gonna get kind words back from him. I mean ur basically telling someone to their face that I am going to steal ur gf so watch ur back lol. U really think he should be nice enough to call him? I wouldn't lol. Like he should have taken a backseat once he found out they were dating. As annoying as Dr. Gao was at least she backed off once they were a thing and didn't say she was still gonna go for it. Him, on the other hand, decided to just be a thorn to LZX & Gu Wei's relationship. He doesnt deserve kindness if he can't treat Gu Wei with the same respect when it comes to his relationship with LZX.

Yea, main reason why I feel like the 3rd ML is going to have to apologize because even though Gu Wei did nothing wrong he still had to apologize for the situation. And pretty much looked like the bad guy.

Well now that SanSan does seem to finally be dating GX - I don't even know anymore because they are always on & off to be honest. It's like are they dating? But the last time they were kissing but in a different way? I dont even know lol. Well, as for parents I think its just 1 set becuase Gu Wei's parents did say they would give her a chance so they aren't totally against it. While LZX's dad we will get to find out lol. But I can't wait for the weddign scene - they are goign to be so cute.

Well, the drama has been pretty good with pacing and stuff so hopefully they stick to it. It doesn't seem rushed so far so hopefully it stays that way.

I would agree with u if Shao Jiang didn't just, moments earlier, say he was still going to try to steal LZX from him because he isn't married to her so he still has a chance. Its also basic decency to not try to steal someones gf especially when u know they like that person. I can't even blame Gu Wei for taking his gf out of that situation after what he said. Like dude deserved it to be honest. No way I am keeping my bf at a restaurant with a girl that just confessed she had every intention of trying to steal him lol. LIKE NOPE BYE!!

I am hoping but lets be honest we know its gonna be him that apologizes and I am gonna roll my eyes so hard when it happens. Girl should get a clue but hes gonna be like "oh I am sorry for being mean blah blah blah". Yea the couple clothing was w.e. to me but I do feel that if 1 of them is that reluctant in doing it than maybe not force the guy. I know some couples don't mind - I have seen a lot of them in amusement parks and stuff. But he seemed uncomfortable and the fact he cant voice his opinion to her without the fear of her getting angry is so toxic to me. To be honest - I feel his best choice is to not even get back with her. Especially the way she acted at the bar and made it seem like it was all his fault and she didn't do any wrong. Like being clingey isn't a good thing especially not when it gets so toxic. Like what is she gonna do when he gets a job and has to work or come home late or a business trip -_-.

She really is not the victim. HE IS THE VICTIM. I felt bad for him especially since no one was even taking his side like telling him to apologize. Like why should he? The girl went crazy just because he said he didn't want to spend every waking minute with her. And SanSan just out there egging her on telling her how right she is -_-.

The main leads chemistry is off the charts! Gu Wei is probably the ideal bf type - he doesn't mind being intimate but he respects boundaries and wants both parties to be comfortable.

I do agree though. LZX really should stop asking her friends for help. I know, as a girl, we tend to ask our friends but our friends actually help or keep us calm in those situations. Her friends just be throwing fuel to the fire. SanSan really is like "oh maybe he isn't into u" - like GIRL WHAT? Is that really what ur supposed to say to a friend when she already has questions to her self esteem.

Yup, the 3rd leads bf made so much sense and honestly idk why people were telling him to just apologize and say somethign sweet to his gf. Like huh? The guy has feelings and is allowed to have fun especially in that age. I mean he has school work, has to write a thesis, gf that is super clingey. Isnt he allowed to have some breaks in between to just relax with friends. I found it appallling that she actually got upset because he hung out with friends without her - like aren't u supposed to have personal space? And than when she is talking to her friends about the situation they are like oh its okay to be clingey. UMMM not it isnt. No one likes clingey - maybe in the first few months but after that people want space. I am just shocked he stuck through it for that long. Like she never once thought of his feelings and he always was the one bending over backwards to please her. But when he wants something - and they are all shocked that he doesnt want to be with her -_-. Boy has a battle to fight - hope he can get through it and really hoping the girl apologizes and its not him.

Its fine lol. I am a huge advocate of people being able to say or do what they please as long as it doesn't come off as rude or disrespectful. Criticisms are like the main thing when watching tv shows/dramas/even anime lol. Nothing is perfect. But as for the rough ride that people were stating - I guess for some they just wished it would just be all smooth sailing. Which is all fine but to be honest in my mind for a tv drama I like some angst because I personally can't watch something all bubbles and rainbows u know lol? So, maybe for some they thought it was a lot while others didn't. Maybe they just wanted to see all the fluff moments u know? But idk I am just taking a wild guess in general lol.

Yea, I feel there isn't much a romance drama can do to be different lol. Its mostly a feel good drama after all - just to kind of make u not think and just enjoy. Which I am doing. I mostly love crime based dramas but at times I do watch romance dramas just to kind of feel "good" lol. And I feel this drama does a good job at it and has a good balance of a lot of elements such as comedy, fluff and some angst. The only complain I have is of SanSan and thats it really lol.. Everything else I can live with since I have seen other romance dramas just be a bit confusing with how long the misunderstanding can go.

I have heard of Rebel Princess - was thinking of seeing it but never found a good place to see it so gave it up lol.

Yea, I am enjoying the main leads story and how real it feels. And definitely seems very natural - like it feels less like acting & more like they are an actual couple. And also glad we don't see the other couples that much lol. I am the type of preson when it comes to romance dramas - I DO skip the 2nd couples storyline in general. I just don't care for them, u know? So glad they aren't spending too much time on them like most romance dramas do. Well we have 1 more week of OOL and we will see how their story ends 🥰🥰. Glad it was finally able to get aired even if it was 3 years later. I feel c-dramas have a very complicated time to get aired. So just airing is a feat in it of itself.

Oh I agree the that misunderstandings are mostly just mild at best and nothing that most couples don't go through and plus have seen worse in other dramas lol. I feel what other fans do is upto them since I think they are allowed to feel however they please with a character and who hasn't fantasized about a fictional character at 1 time or another lol. I remember I did it for a lot of anime characters myself back in high school lol. My biggest thing is mostly SanSan - I just can't find her appealing at all. At times I have tried but find her actions/mannierisms too much for me to handle. I have given up even trying to like her and just have accepted that I dislike her character and the way she acts.

I have noticed that she is never in class lol. But it could be a level of reasosn to be honest for why that is the case. They probably didn't want to add more extras or probably thought it was a waste of a scene. Overall I don't think her going to class adds much to the plot except for, like u said, make it more realistic that she is a college student.

I do agree that XZ does seem to be happier which makes it seem like a youth serum - but even when he was getting jealous it seemed that he looked a lot younger. Now it could be the casual outfit rather than his doctor attire. But it did seem like the earlier episodes his makeup felt like they were aiming for a more mature look while the later ones not so much. They even made his lips darker at times which does make the color of ur skin darker - knowing by wearing dark lipsticks myself lol.

With Yang Zi, I feel when she acts cute it does happen but I do feel still that she seems more in her mid 20s than anything else. Especially in the earlier episodes - now it could be the way she dresses has changed but like I said I feel I haven't paid much attention in that regards. But ur right I have seen so many actresses/actors play roles where they will be in their 30s but they play a teenager at times. Especially if it comes to a costume drama. Almost all the characters are SUPER young but the ones playing them are maybe 10+ older than them. I remember watching Pricess WeiYing - and the ML was supposed to be in his late teens but he clearly looked like someone in his 30s. Its just how it is lol.

Someone posted how Gu Wei took a picture of the license plate of the taxi before he put LZX in it to take her home - during the dinner with Shao Jiang. And OMG Gu Wei is just so sweet!!!

It kind of reminds me of when Xiao Zhan didn't think it was safe for girls in the mountain during the Jade Dynasty filming so he contacted a van to bring them back to the main street. And he asked the driver to record a video of them getting off 😭😭😭. He wanted to make sure none of them were missing.

Lol, I don't mind the darkness of Angel but I just felt Buffy and Angel had such great chemistry. Wasn't a fan of them separating in general. But oh wellz!

Yea not a fan of hers. I know I feel repetitive with how much I dislike her but everytime she goes on screen I jjust want to roll my eyes and fast forward. I really don't understand why GX likes her - I mean all she does is yell and cause more drama.

Right? I feel the kiss scenes are nice but I like the way Gu Wei hugs LZX or just holds her more at times. I just feel it shows how natural their relationship is. Kisses are sometimes just an easy out, for me at least, to show a relationship but their actions just feel more real with how they just hold/look at each other

I have seen Angel lol. But watched it so long ago Like back when I was in high school and never finished it lol. But it was a pretty decent tv show even though I think I preferred Buffy (earlier seasons).

I understand that they are young. But I feel this isnt about being young but more of SanSan's personality. Like in the recent episode - LZX calls them and says how she isn't ready. Her other friend was like its okay just tell him no and he will understand. While SanSan was like NOPE just do it - she seems to not care about other peoples opinions and just thinks she is right. Idk, just not a huge fan of hers. I tried to not hate her too much but just cant bring myself to it.

Well from the previews it doesn't seem like it will be the too young/too old since I don't think that has ever been a problem for them (only maybe a mild issue). It does seem more of a chasing dream scenario - but it doesnt seem to have broken them up. At least from what I saw in the previews.

The age gap kind of has been forgotten by me a long time ago. If they didnt bring it up I wouldnt even think there was one. I do think in the earlier episodes they applied the make up for Xiao Zhan to make him look older but in the more recent episodes it seems like they no longer are applying that same look so he does look younger. As for Yang Zi - I think she has a pretty young look in general.

Rofl, well so far I think this drama does have the comedy and slice of life aspect. And definitely the fluff going on. But I think the percentages might be a bit off lol. Its probably more like 50% fluff, 15% slice of life, 15% minor bumps/hiccups, 30% comedy (stayed with your 110% lol). But lets see we still have 9 more episodes to go. It seems like we are still in the fluff aspect so maybe the 50% will be more like 75% in the end.

Well that makes sense for a teacher - but her bag must have been so heavy!!! I carry the tiniest crossbody bag which can just fit my phone and a tiny wallet lol - and that is the extent of it lol.

Their chemistry, honestly, is one of the best I have ever seen. It just feels like they are so comfortable with each other and really feels SO organic!

I would agree but u can stick with ur heart-broken friend without telling them that they are correct at everything and that the other party is wrong. Speaking from experience - I personally have told friends when they were having fights with their bf/gf that maybe try to look at it from their perspective. I mean relationships are meant to be a 2 party thing. If u just tell them how right u r than they will never think the other person has any feelings or that they are 100% wrong. And it won't fix things.

Because lets say she doesn't go back with her bf Jin Shi. She finds another guy. The same issue will continue because she has NO ONE telling her that she is wrong. And SanSan defending her friend is fine and all but in closed doors she should tell her straight that she is wrong and that things should change. But thats just my opinion. I just think relationships shouldn't just be about 1 person but about both peoples feelings.

It wasn't even scared it was just she got mad when he wanted to do something without her - which is toxic in my opinion. People should have time for themselves. Even married couples take time to do their own thing. Like when he said he was super busy and had things to do - yes it was a lie - but she was so upset about it. Like why are u busy doing school work and writing ur thesis rather than going to the movies with me - it was so weird to me. That alone just makes me go ehhhhh. But I really hope she does change and doesn't listen to SanSan about how she is right because the problem is just going to grow and never resolve.

A friend is not supposed to tell u that ur always right but try to steer u in a better situation especially if they know ur in the wrong. Like if ur into gambling should a freind just say ur right and keep doing it -_-. NO! A friend is supposed to help u not make things worse.
She should have told Yin Xi that yea ur being clingy and maybe take his feelings into consideration - instead it was all NOPE ur right he is wrong. Forget his feelings ur the only one that matters -_-.
