Well lets see. I mean we have to see what happens but I can understand him being hurt. I mean the man did the duty of a doctor and saved his patients life and now the parents are blaming him when THEY didn't pick up the phone or were there. It seems like they would have preferred the doctors to not perform the surgery and let their kid die - because that is what would have happened if he waited for them.
We can't expact him to be A-okay the next day either. That kind of situation does take a turn for the worse before it gets better. I mean for all we know - rumors are being spread of how he is a bad doctor or something like that. LZX should help him in that situation for sure and help him move forward - after all that is what relationships are about. Helping one another like they did in the earlier episodes. Where Gu Wei helped her find her dad and she comforted him with the loss of his teacher. Telling someone to move on like Dr. Gao was doing is just wrong - so I do hope LZX helps Gu Wei like she did in the earlier episodes and lets him come to terms with it.
Tencent changed its episode count from 29 to 32. I am going to guess that 32 is for the TV version and maybe DVD will be 29. So, we should have 2 more extra days of OOL.

I prefer those types as well - hence why I am not a huge fan of alien gf themed romances or people with powers. But I would be lying if I said I would never try them as well - I feel sometimes u r in the mood for something different lol. I have seen a drama where like the lead would have amnesia in such a weird moment just to create more episodes lol. And it isn't just once either it would be like multiple times they get their memory back and again amnesia - like talk about trying to prolong a drama.

Her parents do show up in the newer episodes so u should see them more. I feel they weren't needed in the earlier episodes because his chemo was done and it was mostly just dating and getting to know one another. I doubt her parents would show up at the resort tehy were staying in - that would be some coincidence lol.
Well we have a few more episodes left in this drama - even though I do think there will be some angst for the upcoming episodes but just hoping it gets resolved quickly and we can just get the wedding lol.

LZX never had an ex-bf in the drama. I know from speaking to others who read the novel they have stated they dated in the book. But in the drama they were just childhood friends that had a crush with each other but it never amounted to anything.

Yea, if I was him I would run the opposite direction and never look back lol. Especially after all the things she said in episode 21. Like huh? Did she really think her being so obsessive and clingy was a good thing and that he shoudl deal with it. I have had friends who were in this situation and in the end it just ended up in a break up. That is why I am glad the guy didnt apologize because I really didn't want it seem like it was okay the way the female was acting. So grateful to the writers for not doing that - I have seen some c-dramas where the guy would apologize even though it wasn't his fault. I hope she either gets a clue or they just remain broken up until she finds a clue.

So grateful that Jin Shi DID NOT apologize to Yin Xi (the 3rd couple). He stood his ground and just told her that we should have a conversation about it - which is mature. If he just apologized like he always does it would have resolved nothing and instead he would have continued being miserable while she continued thinking she was always right.
I do find Yin Xi really annoying though - like she just constantly is askng her bf for an apology and thinking he was 100% wrong and that there was no fault to be had for her part. Like sorry NO. She didn't even try to understand his feelings and was just like "don't expect me to forgive u so easily". LIke talk about thinking his entire life revolves around her. So glad he just said NO, we just need a break because her behavior did not sit well. Especially since I think he was maybe 20% at fault while she was 80% at fault. I still think that they aren't suited for each other and shouldn't even get back together because the way she acts - I can't imagine them being a good match. There is only soo much a human being can take before they explode and I feel Jin Shi is reaching his threshold before he blows up.
Its a fun drama to watch - especially if ur in the mood for romance. I think it has a good balance of a lot of elements - comedy, romance, family issues, etc. There are issues but they tend to get resolved pretty quickly and doesn't really linger. I would say to try it till episode 10 and see if u like it or not :)

Well, for the 3rd couple it isnt that he never told her. Remember he did say that whenever I ask to hang out with friends she gets mad. Because of that he decided not to tell her anymore. So, I feel in that case it is mostly the females fault. Because if I am to tell someone I am uncomfortable or that I want to hang out with friends and I always get a bad reaction from my significant other - I am either going to break up or start lying to them or just deal with it as much as I can. The fact she never took his feelings into consideration is wrong and the fact she didn't even think she did anything wrong was also strange to me.
Yea, for LZX I feel her only mistake in this scenario was using the troubles of her friends and making an issue for herself within the relationship with Gu Wei. It's not like Gu Wei did anything wrong but because she witnessed her friends going through it she sort of vented it towards Gu Wei. Overall, she is pretty understanding of his situations and is a really good gf compared to her friends.
