This is kind of a fun drama to watch - just to relax and kick back. Gives me like a disney vibe to it. Idk if its just me but it reminds me of Life Size with Lindsay Lohan and Tyra Banks lol
Best drama of the year thus far for me! Decided to watch this recently and so glad I did. Everything about it is great - chemistry (Jang Uk & Mu Deok are everything to me), plot, acting, just everything! P.S. The ML is absolutely gorgeous as well!
The series in general is quite funny at times lol - ML is killing it! Looks like most of the S+ dramas from Tencent are doing really well overall. Now just more excited to see Longest Promise 🤣🤣 lol. Whenever that happens.
Youtube is your best bet - but they have 29 episodes aka DVD version lol. 30 -32 is the short version aka TV version lol. I know it's SUPER confusing lol. But both versions cover the same content but in different # of episodes. TV version just chopped it up so it could be aired when it was televised. DVD version had episodes that were just longer compared to the TV one which had 32 episodes.

Right? I think the character development of the supporting cast was good and the real life elements made it better. I mean they could have easly let the father live and move on. But sadly, for people who know someone with cancer the odds of it coming back are immensely great. So, glad they went a different route but still made it a happy ending with a touch of realism.

I didn't drag LLTG though - I said it had no issues of any kind. It actually is a good drama as well. I am currently watching and enjoying it. I said there was a different drama which the comment above u stated that it was Legendary Life of Queen Lau that had an issue with its costume design that forced many costume dramas to go back to the censorship area.
And from what I know You Are My Glory is an S+ drama but Crime Crackdown is not. I think its like an S level drama but did absolutely remarkable (still wished it had English Subs so I could watch Crime Crackdown)! It's the same with Dream of Splendor & Heroes. They came out at the same time but Heroes is actually an S drama while Dream of Splendor is an S+. I have never heard of 2 S+ dramas at the same time. But let's see what happens - who knows we might get it or we might not. We can only wait in anticipation and see what Tencent does.
No, it isn't Love like the Galaxy. That drama has no issues. It's another drama actually - I honestly don't even know the name for the drama that had the costumes that were similiar to Japanese style. But yea I think that drama wasn't cancelled. I jsut heard every costume drama had to go back and get reviewed so that situation does not happen again. But it shouldn't be taking this long - I heard Longest Promise still didn't get a broadcasting license yet so they need to hurry it up if they are planning a summer release.
Lol, yea who knows really. I did hear about the new restrictions for the costume dramas. Apparently it happened because of a recent drama, that aired, which had costumes that were closely similar to Japanese style wear. China did not look to fondly at that since they have bad history with Japan and hence all the new restrictions. I just thought Tencent would be able to get past it since Longest Promise does not look like it has that kind of issue but who knows at this rate 😢

No problem :). Yea they went for a realistic approach which made it sad but I think the character development of the father was very well done and I thought his acting was pretty good at the last few episodes.
Yes, but Tencent stated that the drama would release during the summer. And I just don't see that happening because another S+ drama is taking over the schedule for the entire month of August. So, earliest it will be is probably September - and who knows at this rate if it will release during that time because I am hearing that the license hasn't been obtained yet 😢😢😢

Oh, I never thought of that. I guess it could be 2 seasons. I just think for most dramas that have 2 seasosn we would have heard about it. I do think it will be more than 32 if it has only 1 season. But if its 40+ than they have to make 2 seasons for sure. I would be more than happy if they made it 2 seasons lol. More episodes! But I also don't want it to be draggy so if they do it well I am fine with either option lol. Just want it to be released already!!!

So, 30-32 will most likely be episodes 27-29ish in the DVD version.
