Yea! To be honest, I have been avoiding even talking about the ratings on this comment section because I am always a believer that ratings shouldn't mean much. But with how quick it dropped - it does become upsetting because u know some people are doing it out of malice.
But not much we can do but still enjoy it. Just wished poeple would be a bit kinder - I understand some people might actually not enjoy it and that is completely fine. Rate how u feel about this drama because that is a persons right. But to rate it a 1 just because u believe someone will rate it a 10 is just unfair in my opinion. I feel its always better to rate something in a positive way than rate something in a negative way. Why spread negativity u know?
I think episode 6 made me come to terms with LZX's father - before I thought he was just a complete bother. But when he showed his human side and how he really loved his daughter and was afraid this would be his last time having KFC together. I felt that! It's like a fear that is this my final day and I was unable to accomplish all those things - not even the things for my loved ones. It was an emotional scene which I feel was needed for viewers to find the father likable. I feel he got a lot better and does really care about LZX.

Lol, I feel all daughters have some complaints about their fathers lol. Like they never let u out late while they let ur brothers out. Always super strict for no reason but because. . . . lol. I feel a lot of daughters can relate to LZX - however I think the fact that he is also her teacher its like touble OUCH. Because u can't even get away from him at home or school. And she got punished twice. Sheesh - I would have ran away too lol.

Yea sometimes u need to have a right mix of things for u to like a drama lol. Like I have found myself liking things that others don't or hating things that others do lol. I just feel it depends on what we want to see in a drama - like sometimes I don't mind toxic people to an extent lol. It's all a matter of "how much" lol. --- Code Geass was a great anime - but still upset about the ending a little lol.
Lol, I mean the relationship is interesting between LZX and Gu Wei. The one thing I did like was that they got over the misunderstanding pretty quick and were quite close afterwards. It was even cute to me. I also liked the fact that they are NOT childhood sweethearts. I feel I have seen that so many times that its please don't do it lol. Like they somehow magically met befeore when they were kids and liked each other - and found each other back. I would be lying if I said I didn't liek some dramas that have that but NOT everytime lol.
I can understand why some people would like Lan Zhan - its kind of like that cool type character people like to see lol. I myself also LOVE those types of characters - in most movies/anime I lean more towards those characters too. It is very rare for me to like happy characters - mainly because they are painful to watch lol. But when they are done right I absolutely love them lol. Hence why I love Luffy from One piece & WWX from Untamed but I think those are the only 2 lol. They are just done perfectly where u can't help but love them.
Xiao Zhan is a great actor and I can see why people think that about Dr. Gu because he is a coldish character. And most cold characters don't really have much to give in terms of acting - in my opinion at least. But we are only 6 episodes in so he could have some character changes. I have noticed him smile more as the series moves forward lol so lets see.

Lol, yea sadly every drama has those flaws. It just depends on us if we can get past it or not and love it lol. I remember some of my most loved shows had things that annoyed me but I got past it and honestly fell in LOVE lol. One of my favorites being One Piece (an anime) I had issues getting into it but now its like been 10+ years and I still love the damn thing lol.
I thought she was slightly embarassed like in the first 5 seconds and than jumped back to being rude lol. But I feel every drama wants that problem so that they can resolve it. I feel there are very few romance dramas where they just end up being friendly. It always ends out where they hate each other or there is a misunderstanding and they fix it. Seems like a c-drama thing at this point lol.
Ahhhh u liked Lan Zhan. Well, we all love different things lol. I mostly am a sucker for a bright smile lol. Funny too because I went into Untamed getting ready to absolutely HATE it lol. Because I had a bias against costume dramas because they reminded me too much of live action anime lol. So, I was like okay I am going to hate this but I will give it a chance. But than Wei Wuxian smiled and I was like damn . . .. maybe it wont be too bad ROFL. Like I said I am a complete sucker for a nice smile lol. And I always find that its so hard for people to do happy characters without being completely annoying. But Xiao Zhan portrayed WWX perfectly in my opinion. There are very few people who can pull off a happy go lucky character without them being annoying. And especially since I hate happy characters lol.

The way they ganged up on Gu Wei at the club was funny to me because of his reaction ROFL! He just was dumbfounded that how did he get himself into that situation. But agreed - they just picked a complete strange and attacked him. But I mostly blame LZX for that because she put him into that situation. I can't blame the father too much because he assumed he was the bf and no parents like their daughters bf lol. And than afterwards he just defended her because Gu Wei was speaking FACTS lol.

But, I just thought it was quite realistic lol. Since my dad is like this - not to that extent but definitely has those kind of tendencies.

Sadly this is why I wished Tencent released more episodes but see if u like it if not than u can always drop it. Not every drama is for everyone. We all have different tastes and might think somethings are annoying while some others don't. Kind of like some people might love Dragon Ball while some might just hate it lol.
