Does anybody else feels the description of the Drama given here is a little incorrect? I mean it mentioned about…
The description is from the novel - but people have stated that there are a lot of differences from the novel & drama. Mostly because the novel is pretty short so to have more content they changed a few things. I guess no one changed the description just yet because we only have 6 episodes so not enough really to know what the plot is going to be about or heading.
I can't answer the question about the novel but yea the man whore cousin really needs a reality check lol.
I am guessing u read the novel? I got so confused because I was like we met Gu Wei's dad lol? I didn't read the novel so I wouldn't know exactly but seeing the mom already - Gu Wei needs HELP! She just forcing him to get into a relationship - like calm down and let this man breathe and find one himself if he even wants to. U could see how uncomfortable he felt too
Don't you think that qualifies as a spoiler? Not that I care somehow, but others might.
Hahaha lol. Have fun with watching it :)! Your patience is definitely amazing - I can't even wait until 10 to get the next episode ROFL! Gonna go check if the TV version has anything for me :X lol.
I agree with them keeping it from him - but surprisingly this isn't the first c-drama I have seen where someone…
Hahahah np. I was also quite interested myself to know why that was the case. But I kind of figured that it had somethign to do with every country have their own values and beliefs. Still interesting to find out though lol
I agree with them keeping it from him - but surprisingly this isn't the first c-drama I have seen where someone…
Yea. It just comes out to be a surprise for people who live in other countries because I know it most cases doctors won't tell relatives unless the patient consents. So, in this case it is completely different so people would get confused. But definitely an interesting piece of information - kind of learn something from different cultures and what they value.
i hope this will be better compared to " The Psychologist "I will wait till all episodes are out 😊
Lol, I feel the Psychologist had a great start but agreed it started falling short as well. But I guess we won't find out if this is the same case until more episodes are out. But so far the first 6 episodes are quite good. There just easy to watch and nothing too extreme has happened like someone getting in the way. But, they also haven't started dating just yet. The pacing of the relationship is quite nice so far.
I agree with them keeping it from him - but surprisingly this isn't the first c-drama I have seen where someone…
Yea I was a bit surprised too since I know here in America its a big FAT no to not disclose the information to the patient. So, I was shocked when I saw that in some dramas I watched - so I looked it up. And apparently its normal in China to tell the relatives and than whatever they want to do - the doctors will follow. The article said something about how it follows their belief in Confuscianism where they believe its the families right/responsibility to make medical decisions.
Why is that description all wrong? So far it seems like, she isn’t that great of a cello player yet and her…
Your right lol. A lot of people have stated that the summary is completely wrong - but I guess we are waiting for more of the plot to unfold before someone tries to fix it. Since no one really knows where its going since we are only at episode 6 lol.
I saw this comment on a site and it was totally agreeable . "No. Omg. No the doctor doesn't hit on his patient's…
I agree with them keeping it from him - but surprisingly this isn't the first c-drama I have seen where someone keeps an illness from someone. I actually looked it up and apparently in China it is common for doctors to keep a cancer diagnosis from the patient if the family members say so. The family members apparently have the major influence in disclosing the information to the patient if they wanted to do so. And it seems like in this case they didn't want to do that so they kept it from him thinking it was for the best.
Exactly! I particularly appreciate that the characters are not superficial and fake.
YEA! They seem to have their own issues and own ways of trying to overcome them. And the best part is it seems like each are the missing piece to their own puzzle. Gu Wei needed someone more bubbly and didn't see everything contained in a box while LZX needed someone that cared about her dreams and what she wanted rather than what they wanted.

Someone might change it soon though :)
For the TV version - 6 episodes
(DVD version is longer than the TV version - and it is the one most people are watching)
