Title The Oath of Love Spoiler
Too early to say. But there does seem to be an ex of the ML that still seems to like him and wants to be with…
Honestly, the way she acts I think we can take a good guess in why they broke up. She does not know how to help someone who is going through a form of PTSD. Instead she constantly is like "Hey do this surgery, I know ur in shock and having scary flashbacks but don't worry just do this surgery and u will be A okay" -_-. Like girl, give the man his space. Or help him get on his feet in a better way. Forcing him to do surgery when he clearly isn't ready is bad for him and also HORRIBLE for the patient. Like ur making this man perform surgery when he is not ready on a patient that is actually sick. Idk what she is thinking - clearly she loves the fact he a surgeon and doesn't love him as a person.

Have we officially found the gorilla glue of this show?
She seems like it at this point lol. She hasn't done anything besides for be a constant pain to Gu Wei and making him do something he clearly is not comfortable doing but lets see what she does to mess up the relationship between LXZ and Gu Wei.

I have a bad feeling about her to be honest lol. I can sense the pettiness from her a MILE away lol. This girl grabbing Gu Wei's hand and making him feel mad awkward. Liek personal space much!

I saw it. It seems completely different from the mood of the drama so far but I am very interested since it has been hinted so far on what might happen have happened to Gu Wei. The acting by both leads are just amazing so far and the chemistry is just absolutely perfect. I love Gu Wei's reaction to LZX whenever she bothers him lol. Idk how u can't smile at them :D

A trivia fact that I found from Twitter: in the first episode we see Gu Wei peeling grapes. I thought he was just…
It also kind of shows how much he still loves to be a surgeon but something in his past is preventing that from happening. But he is keeping his muscles active in order to not forget the feeling of being able to do surgery. So, kind of shows how much he loves his profession and how much pain he must be going through from that trauma.

Title The Oath of Love Spoiler
I am a bit annoyed at Dr. Gao - the fact she keeps forcing Dr. Gu Wei to perform surgeries even though she knows about his traumatic situation. Pushing someone into that situation is no good to their psyche. Instead she should find a different way to get him back to that place instead of just pushing him feet first into the water. Let him wet his toes first. But NOPE - she just forcing him to do surgeries because she just wants to be with him. It just seems like she doesn't care about his well being but his reputation has a surgeon.

Well it's a patient and relatives psychology too... Most of the doctors are strangers to us... So we do a lot…
I mean we all have been there at times when we get a health scare u know. Yes, there were parts she could have not done but people make mistakes u know. I still love her character. And the chemistry is just PERFECT. I find it slowly developing - it isn't like BOOM they are in love but instead slowly getting to that point lol.

did she really say "I checked online" to a doctor lmfao girl💀😭
Who hasn't done this though lol? I know I am guilty of this where I would look up what I might have before even thinking of going to the doctors lol. Lin ZhiXiao is us lol.

Can anyone tell me the release schedule of this drama on WeTV? Is it 2 eps per day?
It is a very confusing schedule lol.

So, there are 2 versions on WeTv - the regular & TV version.
For the TV version we get 2/day (except for certain days liek Friday & Saturday) and it releases after 12 pm everyday

For the DVD version we also get 2/day (except for the first day and also Friday & Saturday) and it releases at 10pm everyday.

Now, I am not 100% sure because it is SUPER confusing but this is the general idea that I am getting lol.

Oh, I agree. I can actually understand LZX especially since we are bound to look things up before we even go to doctors. I have done it on several occassions where I would look up what I might have online before I even go to the doctors. So, I feel LZX is the typical person who doesn't really want to go to the doctor but will try to find what they have through the internet.

Like I said, Gu Wei was very patient with her because he could have screamed at her or said something nasty as well. But instead he calmly explained to her what she was doing was wrong. Which was honestly kind of refreshign to see. In most dramas we just have people bicker and complain for a few episodes before the issue gets resolved. But in this drama - he talked to her and she actually understood. It was really cute actually. And in the 3rd episode it seems she trusts him to the point she wants him to be her dad's doctor. Loving their chemistry so far!

She's gonna turn tables in the 3rd ep, was a great episode!
Yea, she was a lot better. And honestly I could understand her situation as well - but just felt it was a bit mean to call him out like that in certain ways. But at least she realized she was wrong and Gu Wei was definitely a good help in that with being patient with her and not retaliating against her. He calming explained the situation which made her realize what she was doing was wrong. She is young so she made a mistake. But, I love how she was in the 3rd episode - trying to bribe Gu Wei was super cute lol.

in the book Gu wei ist born 1981. In the book they met each other 2009 for the first time She is born 1988he should…
I think that was how it is in the drama too. Like she is still in college and she specifically said how she left high school 3 years ago. So, I thikn her age is probably the same as the novel. I don't know about Gu Wei. But from the 3rd episode she said something about how he was in his 30s. So, his age is still a bit of a mystery lol. Idk if she was just overexaggerating his age or he really is in his 30s.

Methinks it's an occupational hazard. I have friends from the same profession and they do the exact same thing…
Hahahha thanks :D. Idk if I would consider Gu Wei a turn on character with that cold personality lol. But I still love him. I love the introvert attitude that he has and always finding ways to get rid of people LOL. I feel I should use those tricks the next time I just want to be left alone lol. Seems to work for him pretty well.

I don't really think the story is mediocre at all either. I agree I think it has a lot more to it. Especially seeing how the father is ill and seeing how Gu Wei has his own issues with not being able to perform surgeries anymore. It seems to have a lot more elements and not just the feel good romance that I thought it would have.

I definitely smiled from ear to ear when Lin Zhi Xiao was giving him gifts lol. That entire scene was adorable and how Gu Wei was just like "GIRL if u don't leave" lol.

I think ur right about her being 21 - and I think she is 21 in the drama too.

She told her father that it has been 3 years since she was in high school. So she is probably 21 too if she graduated from high school at 18.

Was it worthy enough of the wait?? Can anyone help?🙄
For me - yes. I can't say if you would feel the same since I don't know ur interests. But, if u enjoy something easy to watch this is a good watch. It does have some serious elements such as an illness in the family but I feel they have enough elements to balance everything out. But I have only seen 2 episodes so far so not like we can make a great assessment of it lol. Have to wait until at least half of the drama releases before we can make that conclusion lol.
