At this rate, the only way we getting OOL is if someone "accidentally" releases it - like what happened to Game of Thrones.

To be honest, I don't think S-class is all that its hyped up to be. I think recently most of them haven't even done so well. I think the last 3 or 4 - according to numbers - haven't done well. And I know people have complained about the CGI for it as well. For example Mirror Twin, the sequel to Longest Promise, got like a 3.9 on douban and people have complained about editing and CGI for it all over the page. People didn't complain about acting and such but it was the production and editing that took most of the hit - so I don't put too much weight on S-class. Honestly, I think Tencent has done better on dramas like Imperial Coroner & Autumn Ballad which was not even S+ let alone was meant to do well. So, I wouldn't expect too much just because its S+.

But we will have to wait and see what happens with Longest Promise. I have no huge expectations - I just want to see it. Best to not go in with too high of expectations anyways - ruins the enjoyment of the view.

Yea, to be honest it kind of reminds me of WWX's from the Untamed just that he had the long fringes. But if u look at the shape I think its quite similiar. Its just for Shi Ying its all pulled back so the hairline is more visible. But for all we know the hair style can change. We only saw like a small snippet of it so in some episodes his hairstyle could be completely different.

From people I talk to they said that Shi Ying has 2 different personalities in the book (not 100% sure so don't quote me lol) - so they might give him a different look for those. But, I think his look is fine. I personally love how Shi Ying looks.

Like I said we have difference of opinions, I suppose lol. Its completely fine if u don't like the way the wig looks - I personally don't pay too much attention to those things in general. I got to see if the plot is of interest to me - the wig game is not going to change much for me lol. And I am not saying its an amazing wig but I just don't see anything too wrong with it. I have seen MUCH worse lol. And I see what u mean by it being boxy - in certain pics it does seem like that but in others not so much. Hence why I claimed I need to see the drama to make an absolute decision about the wig - since we know editing does take part in photos. But in the trailer I didn't really see that - but again I don't pay too much attention to those details anyways lol.

But like I said its cool that u don't like it.

Personally, I didn't see anything too wrong with the wig but we have different opinions lol. I think in the trailer it looks A LOT better but I can't say anything until I see the drama and see the full look lol. And the comment about the outfit - I do really love the purple outfit in one of the pics. But I do agree some of the supporting casts outfits do look more "popping" lol. Maybe it has somethign to do with Shi Ying's character where he wears more basic outfits compared to others - wouldn't know until the drama airs I guess. Like it has to do with who he is - who knows lol. Didn't read the book so just guessing.

It's completely cool if ur not feeling the drama - upto ur taste entirely. And yea u can just wait for his next costume drama - hopefully that is what he films next lol. I got a thing for costume dramas & Xiao Zhan lol 🤣🤣

ROFL!! I mean if someone dies after getting together - wouldnt that count though? Lol, I mean technically they did end up together it just didn't end right lol. People are gonna be so mad if that does happen - like after so many years they get together and than 1 or both just die at the end lol.

I hope we get more information about the plot soon but I feel we will get that once Tencent releases a trailer for it. Till than I am cool with waiting for it - best to not have too many spoilers.

I have seen rumors about a summer release date (some time in May to August). There should be another 2 after Mirror before this one airs. Hope that helps

Lol, its what there 10+ times they been in the same drama together. At least they can have fun on set since they are really good friends - makes the filming more enjoyable.

But yes, let them end up together so that at least they have 1 project where someone doesn't get friendzoned lol.

ROFL, I hope not. Its about time they finally get together. It will be insane if in the end one of the character dies or something - imagine the outcry lol.

Hey, at least I know I will never NOT be disappointed of being disappointed from this drama lol (I don't even know if that made sense to be honest LOL).

Major plot twist would be that they still don't get together in this drama as well lol.
