Yes but thats not entirely true. In any case given the story up to that point it seemed like a strange development. Our FL has sworn revenge on the way the old servant of her dad her brothers gf her beautiful Tong'er has died. Her old maid disfigured. She has been devestated each time. She has said I cannit stand the thought of anyone else being hurt because of me. She has made it clear to Wanning that she is not like her. Duke Su has made it clear to her enemies she is not like them. The theme of people as pawns and ants has strongly figured as what she stands against. And yet here we have a man woman and child used by her as pawns and crushed by Wanning like ants and it is not even noted as an event wirth considering. When the Duke informs FL of physicians fate she smiles satisfied her plan has worked with no thought for the deaths her plan has caused. It doesnt fit. It totally demeans her character and her revenge. She herself and Jiang Li were treated the same as inconsequential their innocent lives given no value. This unfairness is what she is standing up against. So how can she be part of perpetuating the exact same injustice without even acknowledging it or showing some remorse. Are we really supposed to accept this. Its too easy to just wash her hands of it. If thats the case Jiang Lis dad is equally innocent he didnt kill Jiang Li he didnt know it would happen.

I can relate while I didn't love the drama because the romance just didn't seem right I loved every second the FL was on screen she is so amazing. I've just put a few of her dramas on my watchlist
The "flying" unnatural jumping is a verycommon featute in Cdramas depicting martial arts if your droppi g due to that youll be dropping a lot. Thats what i meant

very well written review. I'm on end ep 13 they have kissed and heres the thing it's the romance that's the weakest part for me. Their past selves had so much more chemistry. The whole FL moving on from her 1st love to the ML just wasn't really well done IMO. There wasn't enough from the FL to make it believable I blame direction not acting I live her. So I'll finish it but I'm more interested in the ghosts tbh and the shaman grandma granddaughter. The 2ML is unfortunately another punchbag character who just gets nothing positive. I don't like love triangles but this one is not angsty or even irritating its just not really believable. 2ML is perfectly good guy FL loves him then just doesn't. ML is not nice guy FL doesn't love him then just does. Make 2ML evil problem solved not really. So yeah big fail on the rom big win on the com.

I started reading your S2 BTW and while I haven't gotten very far I just have to commend your attention to detail with the pics/graphics it's amazing. I dont have a clue bout putting together stuff like that but I was really Impressed well done. I'm going to paste my thoughts on this show below
