Its a weird stupid love triangle drama thats only original aspect is the super horroble premise that a dad goes…
LOL not at all though its 9bvious thats your angle. I do hate the bait and switch tactics used.so i wanted him to be ML but it would be a whole lot more palatable if he wasnt the son of the guys girlfriend in the past like fuck off with that stupid plot. Its his son and two versions of him are alive ugh. Also i hate love triangles and this one eas just pathetic both in the connections between the two and the bait and switch and all of that shit and yeah the otp was shithe was too old and dorky looking and that FL hurt her good friend for him was just shut IMO so yeah. It was awful and thats not mentioning the fact the ML had no qualms about stealing the guys chance with his first love even though the guy is his friend and son. Yeah what a "subtle" and great story NOT.
Thanks, this was very useful information, helpful to set expectations.. I must say that the tags don't mention…
They definitely should, to me it was a totally far fetched and unsatisfying plot but others seemed to overlook the ridiculousness of the notion that an u dercover cop would be investigating his wife's high-school sweetheart and then his wife would join him in the operation as his targets girlfriend I mean FFS. But a lot of people love it and of course some would swoon watch and g8ve pseudo intellectual reviews of JCW eating his dinner so you know you might like it. I'm sorry I just couldn't take it serious the writing of the FL character was pretty pathetic tbh
can't agree it was her actions (cheating) that ended their love. Her priority slowly but inexorably shifts through the drama from her husband to her ex who she never got over That is the really silly core of the drama. It's a kdrama let's have an annoying angsty love triangle!!!. The important scenes of last episode all point to her love for the ex and His recognition and resentment of it but he doesn't act like a husband going to therapy etc he acts like a tough guy as in fuck you. it was so lame tbh. But if yiu want proof the apt scene is so dangerous for all 3 but the only person FL instinctively and obviously has any concern for is her ex.
for all your assignment like work on the review your last paragraph shows you really don't get it LOL. Leaving the ring "hints" at break up. She left the chain as a symbol of her love he left the ring as a response to her cheating
What is so good about it? I struggle to get through, and I wonder if I should keep trying. I love good thriller,…
it's not really good at all if you ook at the comments it's a lot of girls in love with JCW raving about him/it. It has such a far fetched and ridiculous plot.
Like let's make a gritty dark gang drama,
ok but we have to have a love triangle and a weak and stupid FL.
Ok but we can throw in a lot of violence and depressing ending so people will be distracted from the cliche core.
at the end when he visits the grave, he puts his wedding ring down right? after he see's his wife has left the…
of course he felt that I mean she was reliving her first love she was cheating on him to his face right to the end, it was really a high school love triangle wrapped in a gang movie
Her character and her story was the whole point of the drama. And it was dumb IMO. Simple version she still loved…
exactly when she found her first love her priority shifted away from husband to ex. She couldn't cope with husband turning dark but was happy to help ex return from being dark (also he was a Gangster portrayed as misunderstood nice guy.) In many scenes she clearly showed feelings and said things to and about ex that were not neccessary but instead reflected her feelings. Also she kept the necklace and repeatedly wore it in front of husband even when not "undercover". At the end when the guns are pulled she instinctively looks panick stricken toward her husbands gun not the exes. The fear she had was husband would shoot ex not other way round. She was "the worst of evil" LOL IMO. I also found the whole premise and plot totally ridiculous tbh. But I really disliked everything about her and her actions right to the end where she left the flowers and chain at the exes grave. She really seemed oblivious the effect that chain was having on husband, (it was rammed in his face constantly) Like she was a detective but she was so unprofessional and seemed to forget her whole sense of justice to protect the ex. Her priority shifted through the show from husband to ex. It was infidelity and love triangle dressed up as a Gangster show. It was pretty unsatisfying.
I really thought id love this Nana is generally amazing and always just looks drop dead gorgeous despite efforts here to make her look anything but. The hairstyles of both MCs are let's say hilarious at times. Instead Im just slowly mostly pleasantly getting through it. The characters just seem to be nearly lovable but just not and while the romance is cute its not living up to its potential 22 episodes in and it feels like its just there. I think the male MC has not been allowed to earn it lets say while the FL seems to have gotten too far into it too soon without the ML doing much to deserve her affection. I would have liked the contrast between his respect and admiration of her and her ex bfs neglect and lack of appreciation of her qualities to have been more explored than hinted at. Her clean break from that relationship seemed too clean tbh The leads love story is enjoyable but unevenly paced. I cant put my finger on it, but it feels like it could have been so much more in that dept. Its like the set up was there but the execution particularly of MLs side of things fell well just a bit flat. Having said that it is funny and wholesome and there are a lot of likeable 2ndry characters especially yoon hee soo and the chief whos a little FL style unhinged but less so. Also i totally immediately shipped the comic store owner with her old judo opponent after like three scenes they were involved in LOL maybe it might happen. That would be a nice little bonus. (I am not a GL/BL fan who wants to see it just for the sake of it being included) but it just jumped off the screen anyone else feel it? In any case im a little underwhelmed but that might just be because i had such high expectations and saved it up to watch for so long.
I really want to try some new Cdrama ive fiund it hard to find one that suits my taste but i really liked the sound of your review. Could I ask is the ML abusive to the FL im not talking gruff or cold i mean verbally physically abusive.
Is the relationship monogamous.
Is there a love triangle involving the leads where a 2ML or 2FL who is a green flag gets heartbroken. Or the FL will end up choosing a guy whose abusive over one whose not.
I realise these might seem random questions but i am not a prolific viewer but i keep coming up against these tropes.
