It does not have incest..you can watch and decide.
It clearly does have an incest plot. it has one of the most ridiculous pathetic unneccessary romance plotlines ive ever seen. Also worse attempt at time travel ive seen in a long time..

This must be sarcasm?😔
I think he read a review of this show on here by a reviewer that basically takes every drama that a lot of people people really didnt like such as Nevertheless or love alarm etc etc and writes really long really patronising reviews about how people only dont like them cause they dont understand "complex" "realistic" drama and arent clever enough to appreciate these great works. This show was toxic horrible and really dissatisfying. Even at the end she is not able to say she loves this of all guys. They were both trash LOL

Why Do you think Kang Min should accept defeat cause he didnt trust Sol Hee enough that he is sick, what about her not trusting him enough to tell him her secret. If she does that instead of throwing a tantrum and immediately breaking up with him, he tell her the truth and this whole sorry mess of a story would never have to exist.

Review Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
Nice that you enjoyed the show and all that and your review is well done to a point but for some reason it makes me want to reply im not sure what about it triggered me probably the interpretation of realism or something as well as the importance and life lesson value your ascribing the show a lot of (but not all) which i really dont agree with. I think first you need to differentiate from the outcome (them not ending up together) and the ending as in the last episodes of the drama. Because to me they were very poorly written and executed. They seemed to make the telling of the rest of the story pointless. It was like a different drama with different people. And the break up with its contrived forced separation, non communication, noble idiocy tropes all mixed in, was totally unrealistic.

Like the break up none of this drama is realistic which is fine its a drama after all. Everything is idealised, reflected, commuted distilled etc like every drama ever, You dont watch dramas to escape reality?? Dramas are exactly an escape from reality. Whats realistic is for first love to fade and for people to grow tired of even dislike each other otlr more commonly get a wake up call and realise what they thought was love was something else. This didnt happen here instead we get this almost "romantic" break up which just leaves you wondering sorry? why did they break up.

Then everything we learn about the future Hee Do just doubles down on that sense (of pointlessnes). So she breaks up for reasons (im still not sure) to do with pursuing her dreams and him not opening up about his PTSD, Anyway then what within a few years starts a new relationship and gets pregnant so what happened the fencing her dreams her life I dont remember her saying her dream waz ro be a stay at home single mom.. Who is this wondeful man who was better than Yi Jin who has this power to win her heart. Why dont they tell that obviously more important love story or will that just emphasise the shrunken character the apparently inspirational character Hee do was supposed to be has become. One thing we know now is that hubby is never around. It begs the Q what was the point of learning about and experiencing this magical love only to settle for this extremely unromantic and dour situation. I thought she was pursuing happiness? This I admit could pass as the reality bit.
The absence of the husband because he doesnt matter is a poor argument. We dont see him because the writers need us to believe that there may be hope that the MCs end together IMO so having him appear with Hee Do in early episodes would ruin that. It is misleading by its omission. But the fact he is not there really makes you wonder again what was the point of all this story.

Finally and back to my main point the absence of any future Yijin info plus hubby does reinforce the story is about Heedo but what is it about her we are being told or shown Is she happy or sad?, regretful or contemt? does she love her husband does she regret breaking up. Why is this first love story relevant now! what are we being shown, IMO its all just pointless. So instead of all that a better written ending could show us a realistic break up and round off with some kind of full circle. But instead its just empty and totally anti climatic.

Its amusing to me that when a Kdrama has an "unhappy" ending its immediately deemed realistic, and the attitude is often ah you dont like it cause its too real.for you you dont know about life etc etc.

This ending was just so weak and uninformative it just made the the whole thing pointless. Why did they break up? Were they really in love? If they were would they break up if they werent why are we being told it. ? Is she hapoy now are we being shown her regret. Or are we just been shown her memories (it seens that way and again its just so yes this word again POINTLESS.
I dont want to fully berate the show cause it had other great characters and was admittedly funny. But the main story just was meh from the start like the ML pursuing a highschool girl when hes in college not cool! The ML was the weakest part for me. The best was the FL and her rival / friend. Until the FL became noble idiot candidate. 🙄 and then in the future turned into the opposite of what we were led to believe she was. At least a lot of the other characters had totally unrealistic endings. As in they appeared hapoy.

This is also my favourite Kdrama ever. The story of yhe leads developing bond was so beautiful and sincere. The holding hands at yhe bus stop scene in Ep 8 is one of the greatest intimate and most meaningful hand holding moment in all kdrama and more satisfykmg than most kiss scenes I loved it.

Review Start-Up
First off, I feel your words carry a micro-aggressive tone, and I wanted to believe you were portraying a neutral,…
It also makes sense that you cannot see HJP’s many great qualities, and
"instead manifest flaws, that only a few see. This is because you prefer NDS over HJP, and since these two fictional characters are in contention for SDM’s heart, it would make sense that you will feel that NDS, your preferred end game, would look better in comparison. This is just human nature, nothing more, nothing less. So let’s move along"

This is everything really if you just swap the two actors' names where the characters names are in this quote this is the only reason there is debate about the show. Despite all the obvious flaws the show has and it has many the fact is human nature dictates that fans and Stans of NJH will look at it through rose tinted glasses and still enjoy it.
For example I receny watched My Man is Cupid I hadnt seen Nana in a drama before and it was like love at first sight she is just so beautiful 😍 and so i loved watching the show to me her time onscreen was great to watch. Anyway I was reading people reviewing and critcizing the show on reddit and instinctively wanted to defend it. The problem was a lot of whag they said was right it had a fair few flaws and a secondary storyline that was boring. So in the end all i could say was yes "i agree with flaws or dodnt notice as much because Nanas presence just papered over those cracks and i enjoyed it regardless..The problem i have with Start Up defenders is they wont just acknowledge it wasnt well done or written but that doesnt bother them because they love the leads. Your original review is irrefutable. The only person whose detailed reply to it id like to readcwould be the scriptwriter.

Really good article i enjoyed reading it even though i have never watched any of the Reply series. Actually no i watched 0.5 of an episode of 88. The reason I dont watch them being the "husband gimmick" as i would call it.
I dont particularly enjoy love triangles and i hate ones where you dont know what way it turns out and you have this poor sap who l9ses out but is really nice. If the MC has feelings for two people it always annoys me.

Anyway my main point is do people who love this show actually feel this gimmick is necessary. It seems there is so much comedy and lovely other stuff going on.
So inserting an angsty love triangle trope take away from it or does it add anything.

If you found it unbearably ridiculous early on, then dropping it is a good call.
Yeah unfortunately i did enjoy some of it but i couldnt really see what or who i was supposed to root for. Both leads are just not good people. I know that might be cool 😎 for some but i just couldnt see past it. Also the FL character was a bit over the top.
