The ML was an Ahole basically. He treated the ex like trash for no reason

One aspect of the story that essentially ruined it for me was the MLs back story with his ex. It was a really poor inresolved plot line that really just made the ML come across as a heartless horrible guy and his lack of any kind of empathy toward her any kind of remorse of how he treated her, he has no sympathy about how their relationship ended. It diminished him and the FL so much I couldnt root for them after that. In Ep 14 or 15 the ex gf initiates a meeting with him where she graciously accepts they are over and attempts to leave on goid terms. He just sits there saying nothing it is pathetic weak and cowardly. That waz the last straw I just dropoed it their and then because after that I could nit care for him or the FL at all

LOL of course we can agree to disagree. I see your points re the FL. But as a viewer i want it to make sense. And it made no sense that she would run with the assumption he was losing interest when all she had to do waz be honest at the most important moment of their lives together. If she actualky loved him that would be the least she would do to try and save things. So hence i felt as a viewer it didnt make sense that it was badly written and so lost interest. And then to write their reunion with her being so indifferent to him after she had been so much at fault and to have him not challenge it and her not regret it more and apologise more and to have her so easily dismiss him for a new guy she barely knows who is also potentially a murderer again just doesnt make sense. Obviously its fiction but even fiction should male sense this didnt and so any enjoyment was lost with such glaring plot holes at least for me. But I did enjoy reading your thoughts for what its worth. I would be happy with the outcomes if it was just done a bit better. Also the wooden nature of the ML also made their apparent falling deeply in love so quickly hard to believe. The 2ML was so much more emotive in the few scenes he was in.

Right but she didnt trust the ML because of learning from her mistake she already trusted him. Hence my point that she gave him more trust in a short period than the guy she was going to marry. Like it was sad because it was so unfair. She lied by omission to this guy every day and knows his thoughts. But never reveals that to him which if she had they would be married now with babies. When everything is revealed he is like ok can we try again. She is no sorry i met this guy recently and I already trust him i even have decided not to believe a lie he told me (about killing someone no less.) I couldnt trust you because you wouldnt tell me where you were going for a few days but i trust him even though he killed someone. She wasnt even guilty she just kicked him to the kerb without really even apologising.. And to be clear in Ep 8 she clearly is happy to continue to trust ML before she meets 2ML and realises why he'd being lying. I just thought it wasnt written succesfully as sad it was too contrivedcand unsatisfying. And of course instead of the FL being challanged on her blatant hypocrisy the 2Ml has to act all noble and forgiving. Like when she tells him she hears lies he should have been furious with her for not bothering to tell him at such a crucial time. She broke up with him for being a liar while she was lying to him every single moment of their relationship.Instead of trusting . I just hate lazy wrotten characters like 2ML that are just written to be dumped on. Also the key to writing sad succesfully is that the characters can be sympathised with. But the FL is just not that. So i didnt drop cause it waz too sad just too annoying.

Yes i get that but dont you think she moved on way too easily compared to him. And that shed already moved on prior to realising how badly she treated him. I mean she has already given the new guy she barely knows more trust than she ever gave the ex jt just didnt make sense to me. At the point i dropped it shed met him for dinner he 'd explained his actions told her he was still in love with her walks her home and she just says ok so im going goodbye i just tbought wow I cant root for this girl shes just a bit heartless and selfish. It wasnt sad it was just cruel.

Once the I realised the Biggest Lie I had to Drop This Sorry Tale

This story is based on a huge flaw.

I am dropping this At Episode 8 because of a huge gaping plot anomoly or more like character anomoly that renders it totally dissatisfying. It just hit me at end of Ep 8 that the FL is a huge hypocritical liar and the story should not exist.

I feel so bad for the 2ML, the reason they broke up was purely the FL unwillingness to tell him her secret and so get a clear answer off him. Its not how she could trust him if he couldn't tell her this big secret? Its she is literally lying to him by omission every single day of their relationship. So he is just a noble idiot but she is a liar who, rather than sharing her secret to save the relationship, just breaks up with him. Then, she blames him for cutting her off. When he is just trying to get well to go back to her.

So now that she is honest with ML, it's all ah that's nice they trust each other this is why he's better than 2ML no no no she just lied to the 2ML but doesnt to the ML SHE was and is the problem.. It's just too silly. If she gets honest with 2ML 3 yrs ago he obvs gets honest with her and boom their beautiful love continues they get married have babies.

So its actually farcical that when the 2ML hears that she can hear lies, he didn't explode and say WHAT THE HELL!! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO? WHY DIDN'T YOU MAKE ME EXPLAIN? YOU THOUGHT I WAS CHEATING OR SOMETHING WHEN I WAS BREAKING MY HEART TO PROTECT YOU. BUT IT WAS ALL A JOKE CAUSE YOU KNEW I WAS LYING BUT COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO TELL ME!! AND WHEN WERE YOU GOING TO TELL ME THIS HUGE LIFE AND RELATIONSHIP ALTERING SECRET?? AFTER WE WERE MARRIED WTF YOU ARE THE BIGGEST LIAR OF ANYONE EVER!!!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME. Etc etc

So now I feel this whole show and anything that happens now will be tarnished, and I just can't feel happy for the FL for the shitty way she has treated and is treating her ex BF.

She should be married to him. Instead now he and we have to watch her doing with a new guy what she wouldn't do for him be honest!!!!! Specifically at end ep 8 she says you dont have to explain why you apparently lied about killing someone I believe you and trust you so much I dont even want to know why it seems your lying or what it's all about.

She couldn't trust the 2ML the guy she agreed to marry for not telling her why he was going away for a few days!!! We also have to watch 2ML being all nice and understanding about it. At the very least, can't he call her out on her unbelievable hypocrisy. Who writes these glaring plotholes.

The FL is a red flag. The way she treats her ex is so bad. She cant trust him?? How could he trust her. She is lying every day of their relationship. She finds out why he went away and still dumps him fir a guy she barely knows wht??? Oh cause she trusts him. Again she couldnt trust her fiancee but cab tryst johnny cone lately. This show was beyond bad.
