Excellent points the ending episodes made it pointless really and felt like it was a totalky disconnected drama. They really didnt round it off at all well. Really sloppy and unsatisfying

He promised to get both guys off and would do whatever it took to do so and got on his knees to promise and was thrilled to be taken on board. and immediately began strategising how to discredit the victim and protect the rapists. He only switched sides when the FL informed him that the rapists parent had something to do with his parenrs death. The fact his aunt is investigating and supporting the victim and he knows this but does it anyway is another layer of his shittiness. The fact the FL supportsthe victim while the MLs new boss.is sending people to her home to terrify and intimidate her and the FL knows this totally demeans her as well. When she punishes one of the rapists and his crew its the ML who rescues them.She never challenges him about his disdain for the victim, they dont even mention it. But as soon as FL reveals re his parents we see him crying out of anger. He now is team victim for purely selfish reasons couldnt care less about her woud still destroy her, but its all aw the poor guy lets fawn all over him. We even have to have the (HONORABLE) FL like this guy and have banter and chemistry immediately after we previously see her telling the victim to be brave and how she can stand up against her attackers that its not her fault while the ML and his new boss are planning to use the facr her assault was recorded to blackmail her just makes everything we are being told to believe about the FL BS as well.

yes because he found out they were involved in what happened his parents not because he gave one crap about the girl. I just can't get how easily people overlook that the terror and trauma he assisted in causing her and he never repented or cared.

Im amazed at the amount of people willing to just overlook the fact that the ML treated a victim of an horrific rape with utter contempt and tried to stomp on her for money without even a moments hesitation. Like WTF

Its fascinating reading this review and then reading your review of Secret Garden, where you completely ignore the overt misogyny, the toxic horrible abusive male lead and what was a masterclass in reducing a strong woman to pure drivel. You are absolutely correct. The thing that really gets me is how many women give this drama10 out of 10 like come on girls the guy is emotionally and physically abusive. The FL is apparently a hard ass butjust puts up with thisrich strangers abuse. What ahorrible joke of a show. Ugh
